Hoseok was surprised when Jungkook got a cat.
Yes, a cat.
It was a small little ball of white and gray fur, a joyful little animal.
Jungkook said he had no reason for getting it except for it looked cute inside the pet shop, so he wanted it. Though the kitten was impossibly adorable, it was extremely hard to handle, and Jungkook's parents weren't very pleased. So, being the nice person he is, hoseok offered to take care of the cat for Jungkook. The only thing he didn't expect was to get attached to it. He was simply going to take care of it and give it back to jungkook when his parents were okay with it. Instead, he decided that he loved having it around, and would regret the day he had to give it back. Jungkook would occasionally come over to see it, and of course it made Hoseok happy since he could see the younger, but it was weird since Jungkook wouldn't pay much attention to him. It was all about the cat.
It kinda made him jealous, to say the least.
But he'd never tell Jungkook that.
So right as his parents have him the green light for the cat, he handed it back over and pretended to despise it.
Though, he had to admit, Jungkook was a lot cuter than the small thing. Maybe it was just him.
