Hoseok woke up hours later in a panic. A muted scream erupted from his throat as he scrambled out from under the warm covers, a shiver running through his body as it was hit with his room's cold air.

He was panting. He was scared.

His eyes darted around as he painfully recalled the devilish smile that was in the nightmare occurring only moments ago. His eyes finally landed on Jungkook's sleeping form, and he calmed - but only a little. Forcing himself to sit, he collapsed to the ground with a loud thump. The most prominent thing about that dream was how little he could remember. That smile was just about it, and as bone-chilling as it was, he could consider it a nightmare in itself. He couldn't stop thinking about it.

The thing was, the last nightmare he had was months ago, and even that one wasn't very bad. It worried him. Habitually Hoseok began to slowly rock back and fourth, using the tips of his toes to push back each time his body moved down. The silence in his bedroom was too eerie for his liking, so he decided to finally speak, "Jungkook?"

Nothing.

"Jungkook..?"

Absolute silence.

"Jungkook....??"

Hoseok flinched when the younger suddenly sat up, his hair sticking up in each direction, "What? It's like, four in the morning.."

Hoseok hugged his knees, "I need a hug, Kook."

Jungkook squinted in his direction, rubbing his eyes as he tried to get a clear picture of Hoseok, "Why? Did something happen?"

"Nightmare," was all he managed to say before Jungkook was perched beside Hoseok with his arms locked around Hoseok's balled up body.

"Wanna talk about it?"

"Don't remember. Somethin' about smiles. Dunno. Will you bring me a blanket? I don't wanna move. I think I'm numb," He said in a monotonous (but shaky) voice.

Jungkook obediently brought him a fluffy blanket from the small cedar chest in the corner of the room, draping it over Hoseok's shoulders, "You look sleepy. How long have you been sitting here?" Jungkook asked.

"Not long. Can you help me up?"

Jungkook nodded and grabbed Hoseok's bicep to pull him back onto his feet, "On a scale from one to ten, how bad was it?"

"11," Hoseok said under his breath as he paced around the room. He was breaking into a cold sweat.

He saw Jungkook frown out of the corner of his eye, "You haven't had one in awhile.."

"That's what I was thinking," he said with dead eyes. "I don't know why I did."

Jungkook sighed and crossed his arms, "Do you want me to bring you anything? Do anything?"

Hoseok thought for a few moments before responding, "You can tuck me in," he said with a sure smile.

Jungkook laughed and guided Hoseok to the bed, keeping a hand on his back, "I mean, if you say so.."

Hoseok sat himself down, eyes drawn to the floor, "I.. Don't know if I wanna go back to sleep," he slurred. Jungkook crouched down in front of Hoseok so their eyes met, "You don't have to. I can get back in bed and we can cuddle, ok? I'll keep you safe," Jungkook promised with a comforting smile.

Hoseok mustered a smile but shook his head, "You should just sleep, Jungkook. No need in wasting your energy on me," He replied in a weak voice.

Jungkook grabbed one of Hoseok's hands, squeezing it. With that same smile he retorted, "Shut up. You aren't as worthless as you seem to think."

And that was it. Hoseok didn't argue anymore, nor did Jungkook. With a grim sigh he laid back down, cuddling up to Jungkook's side.

Oh, how good a drink sounded.

Hoseok woke up for the second time in the mid-afternoon. After his terrible nightmare just hours ago, his sleep became dreamless as well as his thoughts getting plagued. He didn't want to think about it, but he couldn't stop himself. He wanted to know what it meant.

He was pulled out of his thoughts by his bedroom door creaking shut. There stood his beloved boyfriend, holding a new set of clothing for him, "You should shower. Then take a bath. I took the little time you overslept to get some stuff that might help."

Hoseok rolled out of his bed and nodded, "Will you.. get in with me? No funny business, I'd just prefer some company.."

Jungkook beamed and stepped out of the room again, "Of course. Let's go, yeah? I think the things I got really will help. The girl at the store told me so."

"Unless you went to some voodoo shop, I can't bring myself to believe whatever you got will do some miracles and relieve me from my stress," Hoseok said with a chuckle.

Jungkook puffed his cheeks and walked toward the bathroom, "You're so mean."

"Not mean, just stating facts," Hoseok replied and followed Jungkook.

Jungkook entered the master bathroom and turned on the water, spinning around to look at Hoseok, "Stay here. I'm gonna go get the stuff. Get undressed or whatever."

Hoseok nodded and peeled off his shirt, watching Jungkook as he exited the room again.

Minutes later Jungkook returned with a bright blue bag in hand, his body fully unclothed, "Yes, Im naked, shut up."

Hoseok shrugged and finished undressing, kicking his boxers away, "I didn't even say anything."

"I know you didn't. Shut up."

Hoseok lightly punched Jungkook's bicep and stepped into the water, a content sigh escaping his lips.

He zoned out for a few and before he knew it, the whole bathroom smelled like Lavender and Citrus. It was an interesting twist. He looked through the frosted glass to see Jungkook doing god knows what with a few candles, a large bottle of some body wash or lotion in his other hand. Hoseok curiously tapped the glass, grabbing Jungkook's attention, "What the fuck are you doing?"

Jungkook straightened and hurriedly stepped into the shower, "Helping you relax. I know its helping, don't even try to deny it."

Hoseok slowly nodded and closed his eyes again, yelping when Jungkook began smearing a cold substance across his back. "What-"

Before he could finish his sentence, Jungkook began massaging the semi-liquid into his skin which made Hoseok groan against his will. He couldn't remember the last time he had a massage. He leaned toward Jungkook as his muscles relaxed, the tight feeling in his spine going away for the first time in months. The temporary masseuse took it a step further and even rubbed his legs, his thighs and calves shaking from the release of tension. All he could do was enjoy the feeling, the warm water continuing to run as each of his senses were attacked. Under Jungkook's command he stood up straight, only to slouch once he began to gently rub Shampoo into his head of hair. He loved being pampered in general, so this extra treatment was giving him a kick he hadn't felt in a looooong time.

Keeping to Hoseok's demand of there being no funny business, Jungkook kept himself under control. Some moments he did get a little close to Hoseok's southern regions and his expression was undoubtedly needy, but the intimate shower + massage + bath was PG all throughout. As he got wrapped a freshly dried towel, Hoseok really couldn't help but smile. The lustful look in Jungkook's eye was replaced with that of endearment and it made him happy. He felt comfortable despite the early morning's events. In a flash, his day had went from pretty bad to absolutely wonderful, and all he had to thank was the person grinning at him from across the hall. A warm feeling blossomed somewhere in his stomach, and it took every essence of his being not to run to Jungkook and hug him until it went away.

He ended up doing it anyways.
