*maria's POV*
We're running away together. We decided it all last night, Robin and I. He was being abused by his father and he had to get away from him, and of course I wouldn't let him go alone.

"Pack your things, we leave tonight." He says with a huge smile on his face, I knew he couldn't be any happier when I said yes, ever since he told me he loved me.

"Alright," I say. He takes my hand and walks me back to the castle where i live. Black and blue marks bruise his cheek bones and scar his face brutally. I brush my fingers gently over the marks and he winces, i know they hurt him and it hurt me just looking at them. These ones seem new, i knew he had some before but they seemed to be fading and these ones certainly weren't faded, They were as dark as the midnight sky. "I'm sorry." I apologize even though it wasn't me who did it to him.

"Don't worry, it doesn't hurt that bad." he assures me.He's obviously lying, i can tell.

The Moon Acre castle was just as huge as i remembered it to be this morning, but yet it still amazed me. "Are you sure?" I ask him about his bruises. He nods shallowly, afraid of his voice being shaky and unsure. The feathers on his necklace ruffled in the light breeze. " Come with me to help me pack." i change the subject quickly. He swallows hard but follows me. I don't know why hes so nervous but i wasn't going to ask.

"Okay," he finally responds. The wind is chilling me to the bone, even inside the castle, and goosebumps arise on my delicate skin making me shiver. " Are you cold?" he asks politely, which kind of surprises me, since I've never really heard him be so polite.

"A little." I reply.

"Here." he tugs his jacket of his shoulders and places it over my own shoulders. The leather was warm against my skin and warmed me up instantly. Who knew Robin would be so warm? I smile as he looks at me. To my surprise, his leather jacket was comfortable.

"Thanks, now can you go throuh that drawer and take out all my dresses?" I ask as he looks out the window as if he wasn't paying attention. "Are you listening, Robin?"

"I'm still listening." The phrase gives me the shivers.
