*Maria's POV*
Robin's fingers are turning red from holding the knife so tight. I could see the hatred for his father radiating through Robin, concentrating in his face. A look of disgust spreads wildly over his facial features, from his wild eyes to his furrowed eyebrows. He hates his father, no one could deny that fact, even his father, but killing him was not the answer. All we had to do was get out of these woods and onto another piece of land where his father was banned. We could be together forever with no distractions.

"I have to, Maria." He says In a weak voice. I quickly walk over to Robins side and gently place my hand on his shoulder to relax him. He turns his head away from his fathers to look me, but keeps the knife to his throat. "He'll kill us both." His pupils seemed to rage through his whole iris, turning the colored part completely black. I took a double take from disbelief that his red could do that.

"Robin, it'll be alright, please come back to me." Yeah I know he was right in front of me but I know that that wasn't him, I could sense it.

"I can't! Either he dies or we'll die, no inbetween!" He shouts at me with his black eyes focusing on mine. "It's either this or that." His voice calms down and lowers to a whisper. "I can't lose you, not now."

"You won't lose me, I'll always be here for you." I ensure him with a tear glistening in my eye then running down my hot cheeks.

"I love you, Maria." He whispers, with tears bulging in his eyes too. "I always have, ever since I met you."

I was shocked to hear this, and it sure showed on my face, but I wasn't losing his focus.

"I-I love you too." I whisper back. "But killing him will get us no where. Do you want to be known as a murderer?" I look deep into his eyes. Once I said the word 'murderer' his eyes flared a bright red. And that's when I realized, you may not be able to see his emotions through his body language , but through his eyes is a clear give away of his emotions. "I'm sorry" I knew he was mad.

"Don't be" he swallows hard and releases the grip on the knife a little bit. "But I have to do this." He spoke softly and delicately. His father was silent as the blade still pressed firmly to his skin, he knew better than to speak.

"Please, Robin." His eyes softened on mine and returned to their original color. I planted a gentle kiss on his cheek and expected him to do what he thought was right. "You have to chose the right decision."

"There is no right decision" a tear drips down his cheek. I wipe it away with my thumb and trace the features of his face with my fingers. Robin shuts his eyes as I trace designs on his face. "I really do love you, Maria." His voice is as soft as the wind itself.

"I really do love you too, Robin."
