The Kiss

*Marias POV*
It was cold outside as usual but unnaturally quiet. "Where do we go now?" I asked robin trying to break the awkward silence.

"Home, ill take you home." He murmured and trudged his way through the thick layer of leaves and mud below us. Home? Why home? We've made it this far to Just go back home after we failed once? No, this didn't sound like robin.

"You can go home, I'm not." I stomped away In the opposite direction, earning a weird glare from robin. He cautiously walks behind me, following me to my unknown destination. "Why are you following me? Go home." I ordered sternly.

"No... I'm not leaving you." Robin grabbed my arm gently and tugged me back to face him. "Besides, you'll never find your way out in the woods." He felt high of himself for being better at something than me.

"I don't need you, and you said you wanted to go home, so go."

"Shh." He looked around quietly and observed his surroundings. All I saw was a couple of birds and squirrels gathering nuts. "Did you hear that?" He perched on his legs slightly,bending his knees slightly in case he had to run. His feathers were ruffles slightly in the wind but were as fluffy as ever.

"I don't hear anything." I tuned my ears slightly to listen carefully.

"Shhh!" He urged me. After a minute of listening and me not paying attention whatsoever, robin pressed his body against mine roughly and pushed me against a tree.

"What are you doing?" I struggled. "Get off me!" Robins eyes were wide with what I assumed was worry.

"Shut up!"

"No" I still continued to struggle.

*Robin's POV*

Why won't she shut up?! I pushed her against a tree as softly as possible to not hurt her but it came out more forcefully.

"Shut up!" I urged her, but she wouldn't listen no matter how hard I tried. I heard the footsteps and clips of the horses prancing down the forest, unaware of our presence and that's how I want to keep it. My father was most likely atop one of those prancing horses covered in armor and him seeing me would not be a good thing.

"Get off of me." She continued to flail and push me with her weak arms, not yet toughened with muscles.

I didn't want to have to do this, but she forced me. I leaned in close to her until her eyes were wide with curiosity. I leaned further until my lips were just a centimeter away from hers, then lust and the moment pulled me all the way into her, my lips crashing against hers. Well that made her shut up. It was only for a few seconds but it stunned her enough to make her quiet, and I could have sworn I felt her pull her body even closer to mine.

I reluctantly yet forcefully pulled away from her as my father and his group of guards passed us. "Woah." Was all she said.

I smirked. "Mmhhmm." I placed my hand by her head on the tree trunk behind her and grinned like a fool.

"What was that for?"

"To shut you up." I continued to grin like a cat and wink at her flirtatiously. "But you didn't seem to mind."

She glared.
