~Tyler~
Today is graduation. I survived high school. I made it. I'm about to graduate. It's so awesome. Man I'm exited. "Hey Tybaby" Josh smiled when he walked into the room. "Hey Jishwa" I replied with a smile. I fixed my tie and looked at Josh who was getting frustrated with his. I chuckled and tied his for him. "Thanks" he smiled so I kissed him. "No problem" I told him then grabbed my keys.We got to the ceremony and we put our caps and gowns on. "I will see you after the ceremony. We have to sit in separate places" I frowned. "Ok. I love you" he told me before I kissed him. "Love you too" I smiled then we both went to our seats.
The ceremony started and honestly it's the most boring thing ever. "Joshua William Dun" the principal said so we clapped for Josh as he walked up and accepted his diploma. He walked off and they called the next group of people. "Tyler Robert Joseph" they said so I walked up and accepted my diploma. "Tyler is graduating with athlete of the year award and a full basketball scholarship to Ohio state university" the principal said and everyone cheered for me. I smiled and accepted my award.
I sat back down and waited for the ceremony to be over. This is a great day.
The ceremony ended and I immediately ran up and hugged Josh. "Congratulations! I'm so proud of you" Josh smiled so I kissed him. "Josh, can I tell you something?" I asked so he nodded "I'm not going to college. I'm staying with you and we are going to make our band go big" I told him so he hugged me. "We already have a few fans. We can do this" he smiled then we walked off to turn in our caps and gowns.
We went home and celebrated our graduation. Our moms made a big dinner for everyone and we all chilled at the house. I sat on the couch and smiled at Maddie who was holding Lance. "Tyler can you hold him? I have to use the bathroom" Maddison asked so I nodded. I held lance and smiled. Josh sat next to me and kissed my temple. I held lance and smiled at him. He smiled back and giggled. I tickled his stomach lightly causing him to laugh. "Aw. You're so adorable" I smiled so he gave me a big toothless grin.
Maddy came back and took lance back. He started getting antsy and whiny so Maddy walked to the kitchen. I looked at Josh and just kissed him. "Hey, we've been engaged for awhile, when's our wedding?" I asked so he thought for a second. "Well, we've been so busy we haven't had time to plan it. Let's start planning" he smiled so we went upstairs.
We sat on my bed and looked for flower shops, catering, a bakery, a banquet hall, a place to get tables and chairs, a good place to get the decorations and all that stuff. We sat there looking online at basic plans and all that stuff.
We were in the middle of deciding the table cloths when I got a phone call. I picked up the phone and a voice came through. "Hello is this Tyler Joseph?" A man asked in a business tone. I was really confused "yes, can I help you?" I replied as professionally as I could "yes, this is the head of Fueled By Ramen. We'd like to see if you wanted to give us a demo so we could decide if we want to sign you" he told me and I was surprised "just me or Twenty One Pilots?" I asked and heard him chuckle a little "the whole band. Can you come in an hour?" The man asked and I looked at Josh. "Yeah. Of course. We will be there. Just text the address to this number" I told him trying not to let my voice reveal my excitement. "Ok, will do. See you in an hour" he told me then I remembered something "uh y'all will have the drum kit right?" I asked and he chuckled "yes, just bring yourselves and your ukulele" he told me so I smiled "ok. Thank you" I said before hanging up.
I looked at Josh and smiled "what?" He asked "Josh, someone wants to sign Twenty One Pilots! We might get to work for Fueled By Ramen!" I told him so he jumped up and hugged me. "oh my god that's amazing! When?" He asked me "in an hour. We better start getting ready" I told him so we both changed into business casual clothes. Button ups and jeans basically. I grabbed my ukulele and keys before we left my room.
"Boys where are you going?" Mom asked. "It's a surprise. We will be back later" I told her as we left. I got in the car and drove to the studio.
We arrived and was welcomed by the owner. "Hey you must be Josh and Tyler" he smiled before shaking our hands. "It's nice to meet you" I smiled then followed him up to a recording studio.
Josh sat at the drums and warmed up a bit as I double checked my ukulele. "What song?" Josh asked so I thought for a second. "Ode to sleep" I told him so he nodded. I went to the key board and made sure it was in the correct settings. "When ever you're ready" the guy said so I looked at Josh and nodded. We both started playing and I sang the whole song.
We finished and the man clapped. "You guys are amazing. I don't even need the demo. I want to sign you" he told us and I looked at Josh shocked "that would be the best thing ever" I smiled so we followed him to a room. We sat down and filled out paper work and legal agreements about shit.
"Welcome to Fueled By Ramen. I will email you the times when the studio is open and when we have meetings" he told us so I shook his hand. "Thank you" Josh smiled "no thank you. I'm glad to have some talented guys here" he smiled before we walked out.
We got home and my mom looked at us. "We have great news" I announced so everyone came to the living room. "We just got signed by Fueled By Ramen!" I announced and everyone was happy for us. "Oh congratulations" my mom smiled then hugged me. "Wait, who told them about us anyways?" I asked then Zack smiled "you deserve it dude" Zack told me so I hugged him. "Thanks" I told him then we all sat down for dinner. Josh and I actually ate our full meals tonight. It's the first time in along time that we've eaten full meals. This is going to be great. It does get better eventually. You just have to ride out the rough parts until it gets smooth.
