On Her Own *

I toss and turn,

Whisper and whine,

Cry out for help,

Since I'm near the end of the line,

You won't help me,

I know I'm all alone,

I've noticed for a while now,

I've been on my own,

The girl they once knew,

Was now in pain,

The nightmares,

The thoughts,

The lines on her skin,

She's said it more than she can count,

But she hates her self within,

In her opinion,

She's all she's got,

Not counting the voices,

That tell her she's lost,

She feels fear,

She has doubts,

They're happy without her,

There's no way out,

And she's done with the feels,

She crys and crys,

But no one wants to help,

I guess she's on her own,

Cause,

It seems,

No one can hear her silent screams.
