I never thought I'd see the day,

Where you would tell me you love me,

I never assumed you'd like me back,

That part of me felt like a slap,

I hadn't a clue how great I'd became,

Until you told me again and again,

Why had I, a girl unseen,

Forgotten the greatest part of my dream?

How do I make it out,

When I'm stuck living in a world of doubt?

That little girl,

Who rarely dreamed,

Loved the life,

She was seeing,

And why couldn't I see,

That my dream,

Was a nightmare,

That had been unseen?

With her perfect self,

And her guesses,

She was a doll,

Who wore makeup and dresses,

A mother,

Who'd seemed so pure,

Wasn't really there anymore,

And her life that was unseen,

Was a living nightmare,

Not a dream,

Why oh why?

Little child,

Were you so perfect,

Loud and wild,

Forced to wear,

Told to stay,

You forgot one thing,

Life isn't this way,

A little puppet,

To the one who is dear,

You do not belong here,

The poor little child,

Who'd been hurt seemed,

To love her nightmare,

And hate her dream.
