As I listened to the lovely sound of my music,

You tapped on my shoulder,

As I turned around,

You began an apology,

As I stood there shocked,

You doubted forgiveness,

As you finished your speech,

I dropped my earbuds,

As you stared at me,

I smiled and spoke in delight,

And as I gave a positive response,

You smiled at me,

I asked for a hug,

And you let me,

I couldn't believe my eyes,

I couldn't believe who I hugged,

This was you,

My long lost friend.
