I felt arms wrap around my waist and a kiss behind my ear.

Jenay: Be my girlfriend?

Mom's ex boyfriends daughter said what now?

I didn't even have to think to answer that question.

I smiled and leaned my head back , looking up at her.

Me: No.

She looked so confused.

Jenay: No?

I felt a rain drop but didn't say anything or acknowledge it.

Me: No.

She walked off and I laughed until I noticed her not coming back , so I ran after her.

Me: I'm just kidding!

I jumped on her back making us fall. I rolled her over still laughing and sat on her stomach.

Me: Yes. I will be your girlfriend.

Jenay: So yes?

Me: Yes.

She leaned up on her elbows and I leaned down and kissed her. 

Me: Let's eat.

Jenay: You literally just ate.

Me: Yeah Starbucks , let's go home and eat dinner.

Jenay: Alright but I lost my phone somewhere when you tackled me , so help me find it.

Me: Okay.

We got up and searched where she fell when I "tackled" her.

I gasped as it started to pour down.

Jenay: Got it!

We ran back to the car and got in. She started the engine and cut on the heat.

Me: Yikes. 

Jenay: Eh , let's go home now.

Me: Okay.

She pulled off and I buckled up.

Me: I wanna dye my hair again.

Jenay: Didn't you just dye it?

Me: Yeah , months ago. 

Jenay: And you wanna dye it again?

Me: Yeah. I want a brighter color. 

Jenay: Well you do that.

Soon she pulled into the driveway and parked beside my car.

Me: It's raining harder.

Jenay: Better be ready to run up that long ass walkway.

We got a really really long sidewalk.

Me: Nigga you gotta run too.

Jenay: Never said I didn't.

We got out and ran as fast as we could to the door. It had to take us at least a minute from how long it was. I felt like I was on a treadmill , not going anywhere.

We made it to the door as Jax opened it and we ran right by him and into my mom. 

Mom: Holy balls!

We laughed and got up off of her.

Me: Sorry mom.

I helped her up after Jenay helped me up.
