Okay.

So I was looking through my old notebooks and found one that not only had subpar art and a few theatre notes, but a handwritten story inside of it. It was titled The Timekeeper and written when I was in 7th grade. It had written sections and comic sections so it only made sense to put it in my artbook.

So sit down my children, for it is STORY TIME!

Artist commentary will be in bold text.

"Alright! To make sure I don't lose track of time, will Amia be our timekeeper?"

I think I got the idea for this story when my orchestra teacher asked for someone to keep the time so we could get out without running over. That was literally all I had to go off of.

Also, Amia isn't a real name.

Amia fidgeted in her seat. Luckily, she had the seat closest to the clock fastened to the wall. She turned her eyes towards the teacher as she finished explaining the timekeeper. Amia adjusted the two small glittery jewels hidden amongst her strands of pale purple hair.

Amia sounds like a total Mary Sue.

"Miss Penn! We have 5 minutes left!" Amia yelled. Miss Penn turned her head and looked at the clock; 2:30 PM. "Alright class, have a nice weekend." Amia grabbed her books and headed towards the door...

TGIF

...But not before she was halted by Miss Penn.

aww

"Amia, I'd like you to go down to room 665 during study hall." Amia stared at the hall pass she acquired. Instead of the usual green, it was dark grey with red splotches.

Did someone get a nosebleed while making it? Otherwise it wouldn't be covered in freakin' blood. Why is it even bloody in the first place?! IS MISS PENN A MURDELERDULER?

Cryptic reason is cryptic. And why the necklace?

Amia appeared at the strange door to room 665. She grasped the tiny pocket watch she wore around her neck as she twisted the rusty, dusty doorknob. Click, click. It was locked. Amia shrugged it off and walked away.

F*** this S*** I'm out

The next hour, during Social Studies, Amia discovered something weirdly cryptic.

WAAAIIITWAITWAITWAITWAIT. Didn't her last class end at 2:30, and her teacher told her to go to room 665 during study hall, which is normally at the end of the day? Is social studies so important that it's at the end of the day everyday? WHAT EVEN IS THIS SCHOOL?!

Someone wrote on her desk.

Hey, someone did that to me once. They wrote pay attention to CNN. Something is wrong with it.
