I can't stop making these lil face doodles. I CAN'T.
so have one of the sassy cousins.

I feel like I should make one of these for all 6 of my main characters... yeah screw it im gonna do that

I also want to address an issue regarding some of my previous choices in my art. After going through most of my recent pieces there was something that really kind of bugged me. It was the fact that my characters seemed to have something in common between all of them...

It's the overly floofy hair. Everyone had a mass of spikes on their head, and even grouping them in different ways (as seen with the last two characters) wasn't enough to make them stand out and look unique. Also, every character had a sort of cowlick- that weird chunk of hair floating next to their head. The only characters who had unique cowlicks were Toast (with two normal ones) and Scratch (the confused birdboy with the double cowlick meant to resemble the feathers of an owl).

So in the rough shown earlier, I tried to step out of my comfort zone and give one of my characters (Mira) a bit smoother hair. I also did this a bit with Jez in the previous chapter. I think it looks really good and I'm going to try doing this with most of my characters, so that they all look unique instead of having the same fluffy hair that everyone else has.
