Anyways, my mom happened to sneeze out a copy of Splatoon 2 for me (don't ask) and for the two days I've had it and been playing it, I can safely say... it's exactly what I expected it to be. Sploon, but better. More modes, more customization, more characters, Pearl and Marina, PANTS...
*ahem* 'scuse me.
But srsly. If you have a switch, definitely consider picking up this game! It's real fun if you're into online third-person shooters (and if the online aspect rubs you the wrong way a bit, word on the street is that the single-player campaign is just as good... no spoils)
My favorite mode, funnily enough, is actually Salmon Run due to the fact that it feels more team-based than the regular online multiplayer. You're all working together to achieve one common goal and help each other survive. You depend on each other. I love it. Steelhead can go suck seven eggs though.
