SO WELCOME BACK TO ALTERNIA CRIBS, TODAY WE BE VISITIN'...

JESJAM LOTSIP

As stated a few chapters back, Jesjam lives in a desert-y area surrounded by mountains and canyons. Due to his cowboy obsession, he modeled his hive to look like a saloon. The outer area isn't too spectacular, though. His Rattleserpent Lusus lives outside in a cozy little pile of sand (because he's too big to fit into his hive) and Jesjam often hangs his clothes out to dry in the harsh desert sun. Sure, they can get a little sandy, but it's a small price to pay for free laundry-drying service.

As one would expect, the inside is modeled to resemble an old western saloon. There's a small stage that Cervus often plays his guitar on when they have meet-ups at Jesjam's, and a piano that Merego likes to play. His kitchenette (not in shot) resembles a bar, and there are multiple saloon-y tables (covered with Generically Branded Troll Snacks). Jesjam loves Mexican rugs, henceforth they're in almost every room. He has a tube TV with which to watch corny troll cowboy movies, and a large WANTED poster of his kismesis (FlamingMercury5's Kintan Stroma) that he likes to throw darts at, similarly to how Kintan has a punching bag with his face on it. Pistols, lassos, and whips can be found strewn around his hive. He often enjoys traipsing the desert with his Lusus and lassoing anything that moves for fun. More often than not, the ropes will snag onto the horns of the unexpected desert traveler.

Next up is Merego's hive. It's made to resemble a small cabin, and sits near the peak of a snow-capped mountain. There's a small balcony, where he likes to sit and space out, and a cave nearby where his Thunderduck Lusus resides. Due to his Lusus, his mountainous home is almost always surrounded by thick storm clouds, making travel difficult. His Lusus can stand it, though, and is always willing to carry Merego anywhere he needs to go.

The inside of his hive is fairly small and minimalistic. Due to his love of reading, he's turned his walls into his own personal library. He enjoys sitting on the floor below his bookshelves and reading for hours. There's one single shelf that has nothing on it (not in shot), that he plans to put his own handwritten books on. His desk has a computer that he writes on, and a smattering of loose paper covered with story ideas. Crumpled papers and empty cans of Generically Branded Troll Soda are everywhere, since he's too busy writing/reading/thinking/sleeping to take out the trash. His recuperacoon hangs from the ceiling- and it's a little hard to get into, but it's comfortable, so hey. There's also a compact spiral staircase that connects his respiteblock to his balcony. His closet it filled with almost nothing but scarves- his favorite one will always be a light purple one that he got from Jesjam on his wriggling day, however.

Anyways, that was Alternia Hives- Jesjam and Merego edition! I had a lot of fun designing both of these, and I still have one more to do- hopefully you didn't forget the firefly boy };)c
