Alice Pov:
We arrived at the place. It was beautiful. Jamie took out his arm so i could hold it. "Alice theres alot of press i dont want you to get pressured so george will clear out the way" i nodded.
We got out the car and wow there was alot of press "MR ADAMS WHO IS SHE?" "MR ADAMS THERES A RUMOR YOUR DEALING WITH BAD PEOPLE" "MR ADAMS IS SHE PREGNANT" "MR ADAMS IS SHE YOUR DATE OR MORE THAN THAT" "MR ADAMS IS SHE BLACKMAILING YOU" questions kept flying left an right jamie told me to ignore them and george kept trying to clear the path. We walked in and everyone was looking at us. I was shy so i um i know this is going to sound funny but i hid behind jamie. I have problems to be in front of alot of people. Whenever theres alot of people my brain just plops out of my head. Jamie looked at me "whats wrong?"
"Nothing its just um... I dont like to be around lots of people"
"Oo um do you want to go?"
"No no its fine"
"Um are you sure?"
"Yes im sure"
We walked and someone led us to our table. I saw someone sitting there already he looked familiar. As i approach closer i saw his face. It was Aaron, yeay im sitting with the guy i like and my friend. Tonight is going to be fun. We were about to sit then aaron looked back and realized it was me "hey princess" he got up and hugged me. I hugged him back "hey aaron" then someone coughed it was jamie. Aaron looked at jamie "jamie" he nodded "Aaron" i looked at them with a confused look. Arent they friends? Shouldnt they be more friendlier? We sat, jamie sat next to me and aaron too. So basically i was in the middle of them. I felt like a squished banana because they both sat very close to me. I then had the urge to um you know what. Mother nature. I excused myself "um guys i have to um go to the bathroom"
"Ill take you alice" jamie said
"Um no thats kinda weird but thank you"
"Oh um ok"
"Um guys can you scoot a bit i feel squished and i cant get up"
They both moved quickly "sure" they said at the same time. I got up and went to the bathroom.
After i did my buissness. I saw alot of girls doing there makeup and i just ignored them and went to the sink to wash my hands. Then someone bursted through the door "GIRLS COME ON ITS TIME" she started pushing everyone out including me. I tried to walk away until the woman said "where are you going? We have to start" "um you dont understand-" she just kept pushing me "hurry" i then got on the stage and i was dumbfounded. There were girls next to me they were really beautiful. "Welcome everybody, so as you can see there are so many beautiful standing beside me." The mc said as he looked at all of us, he looked at the girl that was 3 girls afar from me and was standing next to the mc. She had blonde hair and was wearing a beautiful green dress. The mc spoke again "to my left there is the beautiful emma she has blonde hair and as i can say shes stunning tonight her hobby is swimming and loves to paint, let the bidding begin"
Wait what.. Bidding oh my god no no no im not going to get bided on that's outrageous. The girl next to me looked at me "dont worry its only for a dance"
"Oh um okay, did i think out loud?"
She giggled "yes, you were kinda panicking" "Oh haha" oh wait thats not any better. What if i dance with an old man and he tries something funny oh my god no. I should try to run, i took a step back and tried my best to get out until the mc looked at me "ah and next here we have-" he stood next to me and whisperd "honey whats your name" "um alice" "we have alice shes beautiful heck shes gorgeous i would even bid on her" he winked at me "but alas i cant because i am the mc" everyone laughed at that point, i tried looking for jamie "so gentelman lets start bidding shall we to get this first dance with this georgeous beautiful princess"
"5 thousand" i looked at the guy who said that, oh no he was old and looked like a pervert. "10 thousand" i looked again to see who it was, it was jamie thank god i looked at him with a look that said please i dont want to dance with the pervert guy "15 thousand" It was the guy next to jamie which was aaron, i would be okay to dance with either of them "20 thousand" jamie said again "22 thousand" aaron smirked at jamie. What is going on stop bidding im okay to dance with any of you jeez your going to waste your money "25 thousand" "30 thousand" "ugh 40 thousand" another guy said he was tall and looked handsome but not as handsome as jamie, he was wearing a blue suit but like dark blue, you know like that blue you cant tell if its black or blue but i could.
Jamie and aaron looked at the guy they both said at the same time "90 thousand" what the hell!! "Seems like alot of people want to dance with this young lady and i dont blame them shes a catch" what the actual hell "well they both said 90 thousand-" "1 million" the guy in the blue suit said my mouth dropped as the crowd gasped in shock. Holy crap 1 million who the hell does that. "Going once going twice-" "50 million" jamie said, thank you jamie. Wait i just realized 50 million what the hell!? Who had that much money. Oh i guess jamie does holy crap im not worth that much. "Wow 50 million i guess no one will make another offer since everyone is quite. So the first dance for this lovely lady is the man in the black tux, second dance goes to the guy in blue and last is the guy next to black tux" well i get to dance with a stranger i barely know whoopie (note sarcasm) after all the bidding was done we stepped down the stage. I literally ran to jamie and aaron. "Guys im sorry your money you didnt have to-" "dont worry princess its fine i would pay anything to get a dance with you" i felt a blush creeping up "uh thank you?" Jamie looked at us "well how did you get on the stage anyways Honey?" He said honey why would he say honey weird. "I went to the bathroom and then i saw alot of girls but i just went to wash my hands then poof someone was pushing all of us out and next thing you know im on the stage, i tried to run but then the mc called me" "ugh that jerk i dont like that mc hes to-" jamie rolled his eyes and i looked at him confused "to what?" "Um nevermind, so im your first dance shall we?" He took out his hand for me to grab until aaron went in the front of jamie and said "well dont forget my dance princess" he winked at me "yes aaron dont worry haha" jamie then pushed aaron aside "shall we?"
"Yes" i grabbed his hand and we went to the dance floor. The song started to play and it wasnt those old piano somgs it was "how long will i love you" we started to dance. He was close to me, my heart was pumping. He danced so well, he also looked so handsome. He smelled nice "alice you dance like a pro" "thank you, you dance really well too" "i dont dance much Alice bht with you i would dance a million times,i know you said were going to take it slow but i really like you Alice" i smiled at him "jamie i like you too" we contiuned to dance then he sang in my ear "how long will i love you? As long as stars are above you and longer if i can..." he started humming. My god this guy hes so... I dont know how to describe him. Hes perfect
