Adriano's Pov:

I just told her i love her. Okay im stupid, i say goodbye to her and her best friend cally and walk out the door. I then wonder what if luca or any adamo's guy's know alice is here. I walk to my car and take out my phone.
"Jerome"
"Boss" he answers me. "I need you to standby somewhere. Make sure no one get's in and hurt this girl named Alice Mckenzie, got it?"
"Yes boss" he says sternly.
"Great im going to send you the adress. Tell Joe to standby also, If she get's hurt you know the consequences Jerome"
"Yes boss"
"Ok im going to send you the address" i hang up and text him the address. I hope she'll be okay. I would love to stay with her but sadly i have to go to my father's house,I start my car and drive off.

I arrive at my father's house and i was about to open the door when i heard someone walking behind me. I quickly take out my gun and turn then point my gun to whoever it was. I was about to pull the trigger until i heard
"MAN WHAT THE FUCK!"
"Alonzo, why would you sneak up on me?" I say with a stern voice. "I just wanted to scare you" he smiled at me "nothing scares me" its true nothing does scare me anymore "Whatever man,Wheres kitty?"

Pft kitty, Her name is Alice. But then again i called her kitten too. "Somewhere away from you" i hiss at him
"Aw i wanted to play with the little kitty. Maybe open a bottle of wine then chit chat with her then-"
"Alonzo shut the fuck up!" I shouted "The big bad monster has feelings aw how cute. Dont worry brother im just teasing although, she is pretty hot. Like wow her boo-" i roll my eyes at him and cut him off by saying
"Dude just. Lets just go inside, Father's been wanting to talk to us"
"God whats wrong with you? Father father shesh your like an old timer. Hello sonny father has been requesting our presence" that little motherfucker. I just roll my eyes and open the door, when we were heading to the living room we passed alessandra and she looked furious at me but i just shrugged at it.

Finally we're in the living room. I see luciano and my dad sitting on the couch just talking. Wonder what their talking about, probably about the club downtown. He see's me walk in "Ah Adriano Alonzo nice to see you. Please sit and where is Alice?"
"She's at her house packing" i said to him
"Packing? Why?" My dad asks me
"Shes going to live with me from now on" as I say this I see Luciano makes fists with his hands and his jaw clenches while Alonzo smiles and gives me two thumbs up. I smile internally but i roll my eyes at him. "Oh I see. So Alonzo,Luciano notice anything about Alice?"
I furrow my brows, alonzo and luciano look at my dad confused. Luciano speaks "Um no?" My dad seemed suprised but then put on a straight face "ah okay then. How about you Adriano? Nothing aswell?"
I shake my head "i dont think so dad. Why is there something about her?" My heart started to race because what if he thinks shes a spy. She couldnt be shes so pure. "No im just saying she looks italian"
i raise my eyebrow "She does but she has no italian background whatsoever. Both her parents are american she says" but she reminds me of her. Her warm brown eyes, her smile that makes me feel something. I snap out of my thoughts and ask my dad "So why did you ask us here dad?" My dad laughed "Cant a father see his children?" I raised my eyebrow and thought what are we here for really. Luciano decided to open his mouth "Ah by the way uncle. Dante, How are the Adamo's?"

The Adamo's, i stiff up whenever i hear that name. It reminds me of Her my first love. I know i was seven at the time but i knew at that moment my heart beated for her and her only. She was just a little girl and some monster took her away. I remember that day clearly the day she was taken away from me. The adamo's tried looking for her and so did i, until i found out she was gone. I didnt tell the Adamo's because i wanted to save them from the hurt. "Ah the Adamo's i havent seen them for a while why dont i invite them to dinner next week"
Hes going to invite them to dinner? Hmph fine. "Why?" I say with a confusing tone.
"Well because, i havent seen them since the incident and i think its time to make amends with them. After all we were best friend's" he smiles at me.
"Yeah I guess you should invite them"
He nods and looks at Alonzo "Alonzo you have to come" i can see Alonzo eys bulge "what? Why me?" I internally laugh he has to go but not me. "Well to accompany your brother and his beautiful girlfriend Alice" My eyes widen. I have to go? I hate the Adamo's even though I fell in love with one. Luca a snake, Antonio the asshole who tried to take down my fathers legacy, and Dante the old bastard who accused my father for taking his daughter.
"Im sorry? Did i hear wrong? I just heard you say i have to go to this dinner"
My dad nodded "Yes of course you do. Its the Adamo's i thought you loved them"
"Loved. Past tense. Now i know never to trust one" i scoff.
"Well you are coming and you are going to invite Alice too" No i cant do that what if they are dangerous
"No, what if they try to hurt her" Luciano decided to speak "Yes uncle what if Luca tries to attack her"
"Then she'll have you two and maybe alonzo" i see Luciano grin and i just despise him for that
"No im going to protect her when she's here"
"Great so she is coming" God damn. He tricked me. Oh well at least she will be with me and she will be safe. Im never going to let anyone hurt her.
