Chapter 31

Alice's Pov:

I wake up because the smell of food. I get out of bed and see Adriano not in bed. Which means Adriano is cooking. I see Luciano still on the floor sleeping. I look at the clock and its 9 o'clock God how long did i sleep? I decide to wake up Luciano, so i get a cup and fill it up with water. I try to hold back from laughing. I throw the water onto his face and he shouts
"FREDDO! Ho intenzione di uccidere chiunque ha gettato il ACQUA SU ME!!!!" He says
"What the hell does that mean?" I laugh
Adriano runs in "WHAT THE FUCK LUCIANO?! YOU CANT JUST SAY THAT STUFF LIKE THAT AROUND HER!" He shouts
"Hey it's okay I don't even understand what he said" i laugh even more
"Ho pensato che fosse voi che ha lanciato l'acqua va bene? Io non sapevo che fosse" Luciano says
"Stolto! Ora ottenere il cazzo e mi aiuta!"
Oh god what are they saying...
"va bene, va bene" he grumbles
I wonder what they were saying...but Luciano gets up and walk towards the door.
"Guys..." I say
They both turn around "yeah?"
"I literally don't know what you guys said. Oh yeah and Luciano I'm sorry for pouring water on your face" i walk up to him and hug him and kiss his cheek as you know a friend. Adriano see's my actions and glares at Luciano. Who was smiling like a fool.
"I know my kisses and hugs are wonderful" i decided to say
"Pfftt had better ones" Luciano states
"Oh okay then I'm never going to kiss your cheek and hug you again" i tease him
I leave Luciano with his mouth wide open and Adriano laughing. I close my door and walk to my closet to change. I see all the boxes in my room and sigh maybe I should unpack later. I decide to shower and my morning routinely . I change into some jeans and just a white t-shirt. I tie my hair into a high pony tail and walk to the kitchen to see Adriano and Luciano. I saw Luciano sitting next to Adriano who were eating and an empty seat next to Adriano with a plate that was full with eggs,toast and there was milk. Really? Milk? Don't get me wrong I love milk but seriously? Are they trying to tell me I'm short? Im literally 5'8. Just because I'm not 6 foot tall doesn't mean I'm short.

I just sit down and eat. The food was awesome i didn't know eggs could taste that good.
"So how's the food?" Adriano asks
"Pretty good" i say
He smiles "that good, So about tonights dinner its at 6/7 but we should leave by 5 even though if the-" he pauses and gulps "guests haven't arrive I can give you a tour you know"
"Yeah sure that sound's like a plan" i smile while eating the rest of my eggs
"Hey! How about me princess? Are you going to leave me alone" he pouts
"You got Alonzo and Dad so I don't think you'll be alone" Adriano says
He rolls his eyes. "Well i gotta go and pick a suit or tux. Cause as we know we have too many of them suit's and tonight i want to be the most handsomest" he grins and gets up.
"Bye bye princess" he walks out the door. We finish up our breakfast in silence

Im alone with Adriano. Oh no...what should i do?what should i say?
"So do you want to play a game?" I say
"What game?" He says
"Um..." think Alice think...
"Truth or dare?" Wow how creative of you Alice i mentally face palm myself.
"Sure" he says
Wow he wants to play? Okay cool...
"Okay" i walk to the living room and sit on the ground and he looks at me with one of his eyebrows up. I pat the floor which means i want him to sit across me. He laughs and sits there.
"Okay so you ask me first and I pick truth!" i say
"Okay okay...hmmm....Did you ever have a crush on anyone?"
I smirk "Well duhhh"
His jaw clenches "WHO?!"
"You don't know him so i don't have to tell you and anyways thats two questions"
He grumbles "Fine, my turn i pick dare"
This is going to be fun "I dare you to um not fight i with Luciano anymore"
"Really? For how long?"
"Just for today" i smile
"Fine, your turn truth or dare?"
If i pick truth that means he's going to ask me who i had a crush on. "Dare!! Aha"
"I dare you to tell me who was your crush" he smirks
Crap! Uhhhh why does he want to know so much! I don't get it! I roll my eyes at him "why do you want to know?"
"Cause" he says
"Cause what?"
"Just cause" he shrugs
"Fine i have a crush on Jamie Dornan"
"Really? I thought the guy you had a crush on would be someone i don't know from your school?"
I laugh and he looks at me confused "hell no the guys at my school are pigs. Once there was this guy named Mike he asked me out by making this huge gesture he painted my locker with spray paint and he was on top of a table and shouted i love you he had a banner and flowers. I thought it was cute but i turned him down. The next day he was dating a cheerleader"
He furrowed his brows "why did you turn him down?"
"Because"
"Because what?"
"Because I told myself I would only date if I found the one" i smile
"And have you?"
"I don't know" i smile
We It was silent until Adriano's phone rang
"Che cosa!"
"come diavolo?! IDIOTI DEVO ANDARE IO STESSO !?"
"Va bene,Vengo Stupids di nuovo!" He shouted
I wonder what he's shouting about. I feel bad for the other guy on the line he must be scared
"Alice, I'm sorry but something came up and i have to go...but i will be back before the dinner" he gets up and offers his hand and i take it and he pulls me up
"It's okay i was just going to unpack my stuff anyways"
"Im sorry beautiful" he kisses my forehead and changes into his suit.
"Bye Alice" he hugs me and kisses me and leaves.

I walk back to my room to unpack. I take out the stuff and see something that catches my eye. I pick it up and its a picture of me,my mom, and my dad. I smile i remember how my dad always bought me ice cream and my mom would get mad because she said i cant have ice cream all the time. I haven't called them for some time maybe i should. I get my phone and dial their number.
"Hello?" My mom answers
"Hey mom"
"Ally?! Oh my god honey I haven't heard from you from along time!! Are you okay honey? How are you eating? Are you holding up? How's Cally? Ben honey come it's your baby girl!!" She screamed
"Hello to you too mom. Yes I've been well and Cally has been doing well"
"Good to hear, oh dad wants to talk to you"
"Hey honey, how are you doing? Are there any guys trying to bother you? Cause i will beat them up for you honey!" He says
I laugh "No daddy, no one is bothering me. I wanted to call you guys cause i missed you"
"We miss you too sweet pea. We haven't seen you for a long time now you should come and visit us"
"Sure thing daddy. I miss you so much i wanted to hear your voices" i wipe a tear from my face
"Oh honey it's fine we can go there and visit!"
Come here and visit? Oh I'm dead if they knew I'm living with Adriano "oh no its okay dad i'll visit you"
"Well okay honey but be fast! I miss you"
"Yes dad, I gotta go now. I love you"
"Okay honey, we love you always. Bye bye now"
"Bye dad"
I hang up. I haven't seen them for month maybe i should see them...I start to unpack again and put the picture on my bedside table. I look at the picture and remember that everyone thought i was adopted or something because i don't resemble any of them. But they said i got my brown eyes from my grandma and my hair from my dads family side. Still a lot of people didn't believe so they did a DNA test and it came out i am 100% their child. I place it back and get back to packing

After packing it was around 12 past something, Adriano hasn't come back yet and i hope he is okay. I don't feel hungry but I feel bored. Super bored... i lay on my bed and put on the song "Touch It" bye Ariana Grande. I love this song i start to dance and sing

Cause every time I'm with you I go into my zone and I'll remember the places you wanna go.
I fall on my bed and start to think about Adriano. I love him, how did this amazing thing happen to me? Im just a normal girl he must've had so many girls chasing after him yet he wanted me... I'm pretty sure he has loved someone before. I can see it in his eyes that he has lost someone. I need to ask him about it, maybe I could help him. I walk to the living room and see someone on the couch. I scream and hear
"Shhhh, your making my ears bleed"
I grab something that was close which was a fork
"Really? A fork?"
"Wh-hoo are you?! How did you get in?!"
"I have the keys" he says
"Where the hell did you get those?!" I scream, who the hell is he?! He has a well built body and was wearing a suit. Every guy i see unexpectedly just happens to wear a suit for once i would like to meet someone with normal clothing.
"Look I was sent here by Adriano to protect you. I'm one of his men and please stop screaming it really hurts my ears" he says while getting up
"Sorry...I'm Alice but some people call me Ally" i say
"Im Mario" he extended his hand for me to shake and I did. His name is Mario? Thats funny like the Nintendo character.
"Yes i know my name is like from super mario except i don't kill mushrooms and turtles" he just read my mind
I giggle "You must get that a lot"
He smiles and shakes his head "Yeah always"
"So why did Adriano tell you to watch me? He does know I'm not a baby" i say
"You sure don't look like one too but he told me you have encountered Luca Adamo once"
"Yes but he never tried hurting me for some reason...he just talks to me" I say curiously
"Well that's good because Luca Adamo is very ruthless and will kill anyone" he says
"Wow...thats um not good to hear....He seems like a very weird person"
He chuckles "He is"

Its 12 something he must be hungry maybe i should offer him some food.
"Hey Mario its lunch time and I wouldn't want you to go hungry. Do you want lunch? I can make you something" i laugh
"No but thank you Alice. It's very nice of you offering to make me lunch but i had some before i got here" he smiles
"Oh okay then Im just going to be in my room and you do you boo" i giggle
"Sure thing Alice" he rolls his eyes while smiling
I walk to my room and face plant myself on a pillow. I wonder what should i do...i then remember Adriano had a library in here. I open the library and take out some books to read. I think some hot chocolate would be nice. So i walk to the kitchen and make some, i make two cups one for me and one for Mario. I put some marshmallows and a hint of cinnamon. I hand one to Mario and he thanks me, i nod and walk to my room. Well i guess i should get reading.
