Chapter 1

I woke up because of a huge beeping sound. I looked at my alarm clock and it was 7:30. I turned it off and closed my eyes for a bit and then i remembered "Holy crap i have an interview today" so i ran to my bathroom took a quick shower, brushed my teeth. I went to my closet and found a cute black pencil skirt thats just above my knee and a cute blouse to go with it. "ALICE COME DOWN!!" My bestfriend and my roomate Cally screamed.

I went downstairs to see why she was screaming my name so loud early in the morning, i saw cally holding a cute pair of black heels "ally you'd look so cute in these, wear them to the interview"
"Um i dont know" i said because i was scared i would fall "come on please"
I gave in "fine" she then squealed. I put them on and looked at my watch "shit its 7:48, cally I gotta go see you later"
"Ok alice see you later love you"
I got into my car and drove. It was probably like 15-20 minute drive. And i am supposed to be there at 8:30. I parked my car in front of the huge building.

To be honest I was pretty scared to go in but i just said to myself "fuck it" and went in. I went to the receptionist, she was around her late 20s. I cleared my throat "um hello im here for the interview" "Oo yes, good luck please take the elevator to floor 19" she smiled "Thank you" I smiled back. I then did as I was told. I was so nervous, when it reached the 19th floor i walked out and saw another lady she was wearing a skin tight dress with her hair in a bun, i went over to her desk and asked her "Im sorry to bother you but im here for the interview"
"Oo may i ask you what is your name?"
"Alice Mackenzie"
"Right this way Ms.Mackenzie" as she smiled at me. I followed her into an office that was huge and i was someone sitting in a buissness chair calling someone. "Yes I would love for that to happen. Great. Thanks" I heard a deep voice say. "Sir i have a Ms.Mackenzie here for the interview" he turned his chair to look at me, i saw him he was my future boss, his eyes were so beautiful the color of a dark grey. I then snapped back into reality but he just kept on staring at me. I felt akward because it was silent for 3 whole minutes. He soon broke the silence and said "Ms.Mackenzie please take a seat" i then did as i was told and took a seat. "So Ms.Mackenzie tell me why do you want to work in this company and do you think your qualified for this job?" I suddenly felt nervous but said "um yes and i want to work at this company because i feel that i would fit into this company" he looked at me and i wanted to know what was going on his mind, did i get the job? Did i mess up? I hope not.

"Ms.Mackenzie i would more then be honored for you to work here"
I suddenly felt so happy and smiled until he said "but im sorry i cant hire you" my smile broke and i said "why? Is it because you think im not that experienced, Sir-"
"My name is Jamie Adams"
"Um Mr.Adams, why cant you hire me?"
"I would i like to tell you but i just cant im sorry"
"Well thats ok then... Thank you for your time Mr.Adams"
"Um wait"
I was shocked had he changed his mind? "Yes Mr.Adams?"
"Please im sorry but let me buy you dinner to make it up"
I thought to myself what the actual fuck is happening. I soones answered him and said "Thank you for the offer Mr.Adams but I have plans" i lied well technically eating pizza and watching greys anatomy is a plan. I was walking to the door and had acted like nothing had happen. The nice lady on the front desk asked me "so how'd it go honey?"
"Not my luck today"
"Aw its okay, It seemed like Mr.Adams would hire you I have seen your resume and its fantastic"
"Thank you ms?"
"You can call me Marry"
"Oo thank you Marry, and you can call me Alice or Some people call me ally"
"Well you are welcome alice"
I smiled at her and said "im sorry but i have to go nice meeting you marry, i hope to meet you again"
"Nice meeting you too alice"
I soon went out of the building and went to my car, and drove back home.
