Chapter 51

Alice's Pov:

"I do....." I finally say...why...
"Dmitri Alexeevich Ivanov, do you take Alice Mckenzie to be your lawfully wedded wife for as long as you both shall live?"
"I do" He says and i cry...this is it...the end of everything...Adriano didn't come for me...
"Then if there is any objections please speak now or forever hold your peace" He says and I see Cecilia have a big smile while clapping.
"If there aren't any the-" as soon as these words were spoken the door burst open.
"THIS PARTY SUCKS" I hear someone say, I look back to see Alonzo holding shotgun.
"ALONZO" I scream with happiness
"Wassup baby? Miss me?" He laughs
Oh thank God! Alonzo! I'm crying, I'm crying.... tears of joy. I see him point his gun at Alexei but then turns to shoot all the guards
"HAHAHA THIS IS FUN!" He laughs

I cry and cry, I can't stop. Overwhelmed I don't feel being pulled by Dmitri to the side, i whimper as he pulled my arm.

"You fucking bitch!" He says and takes out a gun
"You make one move baby and the last thing you'll see is me" He says
We just stay in place but we watch what is happening. Cecilia was pissed from her facial expression could tell you everything, Luciano walked in and I become more happy. He had two hand guns and started to point at Cecilia and she just stood there with a sour face. All the guards started to fall one by one, blood was everywhere. I didn't like that...but- I get distracted and see Luciano fire his gun but Alexei jumped in front of her. My eyes widen and I gulp, this is all getting to real. I look at Cecilia and she just scoffs, she walks over the dead corpse and walks in my direction.
"I HATE YOU! YOU RUIN EVERYTHING!" She screams at me but I don't feel anything. Scared? No. Furious? No. She doesn't scare me, I smirk at her and that just makes her more angry. Luciano quickly saw Cecilia reach for a gun but he shot her hand.
"AHHHH YOU STUPID ITALIAN!" She screams in pain

Dmitri on my side doesn't budge but keeps a gun on my head. I wasn't fazed by the gun at all because I knew they'd save me. More and more guards kept coming but Alonzo and Luciano had it covered.
"You Italian's think you've won this huh? You are all idiots" He says
"You are the idiots. You took a girl who is loved by a Moretti and you took an Adamo. What did you expect?" I tell him and he give me a glare
"You shut up! Shut up! Shut up! вы - итальянская подонка" He speaks to me but I don't understand the russian part...
"I'm sorry I can't understand Russian" I say
"I said you are an Italian scum" He spats at me
"Like wise Dmitri, you are can mock me all you want but your time is almost here so you should use it wisely. God knows what you've done to people and me" I tell him and he doesn't seem bothered
"I know what I've done and I'm not even scared of what will happen" then the lost gunshot has been fired then everything becomes silent. Dmitri pulls my arm to make me stand, I whimper but I stand while he has a hold of my arm and a gun to my head. Alonzo has Cecilia who is screaming like a bitch and Luciano see's me as soon as he shoots the last guard, he walks towards me but then Dmitri interrupts
"Luciano! Take one more fucking step in this bloody massacre and you will see one my body on the ground" He says
"Give her to me Dmitri and I'll give you your sister" Luciano tries to persuade
"My sister? Do you think I want that bitch? My father is gone! I don't have anyone controlling me any longer, I AM THE HEAD NOW! I AM THE DON!" He shouts while laughing maniacally.
"You are a fucking crazy! A coward! Just give me Alice!" He shouts as he gets angrier
"You come to my wedding, my home and shout at me? No manners!" He says
"Fuck manners! Alice I'm going to get you just hold on" He reassures me which makes nod my head a bit. Dmitri takes a step close pulling me by my arm rough.
"Where is your boss? Adriano? He's not coming? What a pussy! Not even coming" Dmitri scoffs
"I'm right here Dmitri" The voice I was longing go hear...that beautiful voice....it's him...he's here... I look up and see him in a clean black suit with a bow tie while Antonio and Luca is behind him. Woah...that's new? Adriano...he came...he loves me! I couldn't help it but smiled as wide as I can, I was about to scream but before I could say anything Dmitri decided to open his mouth.
"Adriano Moretti! Ah and surprise surprise we have Antonio Adamo and Luca! How are you doing? Last thing I heard you were devastated because of your missing sister! Oh but wait, here she is. Always been right under your noses just too stupid to find her! And Adriano my friend, you on the other hand took my sister for Angela? HAH you were the most stupid of them all, well what did I expect right? Italian's" He scoffs
"Dmitri let her go, this is about you and me. Be a man" Adriano says, him and Dmitri? What did Adriano ever do to him? All I know it was Cecilia who had relations with Adriano...
"You love her right? I will take all the things you love Adriano! All of them! Not leave you a single one so you can rot in this damned world" hatred, was in his tone pure hatred
"She has nothing to do with this! Why would you drag her?"
"She has nothing to do with this?! What you did to Aileen is what I'm going to do to her!" He shouts while pushing the gun harder towards my head
"I NEVER DID IT!" He shouts that echoes
"Your never did it?! COWARD! Show your true self to her, tell her everything! What you did to Aileen! You are a motherfucker! A coward!" He rages at Adriano
"I WAS FRAMED DMITRI! I WOULD NEVER HURT HER!" Who is Aileen
"Never hurt her? Never hurt her?! Bullshit Adriano! You killed her! I saw the recordings!"
"It wasn't me Dmitri! Besides she was never shot!"
"I saw the fucking recording Adriano! I will kill everything you love or take it away from you. I'm not afraid of you or anyone, i'll show her you are a monster. I'll break her! I'll make her feel disgusted by the sound of your name!"
"Enough!" He says
"You are hurt because Aileen I get it...the recording you saw wasn't her. Look, Aileen came to see me but even though the hate for her was there she begged me to help her. She hated you...she said she never even wanted to be with you...the night you proposed to her she never wanted to say yes but you forced her. You threatened to take everything from her including her family if she didn't agree to marry you" wow what a man Dmitri is...threatening a defenseless woman..
"You are a liar! A liar!" He screams
"You know deep in your heart I'm not. I know you saw fear in her eyes when you proposed to her. You saw it and you used her fear, you were supposed to love her Dmitri not scare her" He reasons with him
"Stop it Adriano! Stop! You are lying and I'm going to shoot her if you keep up with these lies! Admit to me you shot her! Admit you killed her with your gun in your hands!" Dmitri screams like a mad man while pushing the gun closer to my head
"I'm telling the truth Dmitri, you are the one denying it" Adriano says as he slowly walks towards me and Dmitri but keeping eyes on me
"STEP BACK MORETTI! I SWEAR TO GOD I'LL SHOOT! BACK AWAY!" He screams at him but Adriano proceeds to walk towards us and I can feel Dmitri's breathing getting faster
"I told you to BACK AWAY!" He screams but Adriano just keeps walking, I get pretty scared because of what Dmitri is capable off but I trust Adriano... the next thing I know is I hear a loud gun shot. I look at Adriano and I can see his eyes widen while Dmitri is looking at me in horror. I look down on me and see blood on my chest, I look at Adriano and touch the place I have been shot. The dark red substance that came out smelled like metal, it became harder to breath all of a sudden. My life flashed before my eyes, Dmitri for some reason tried to apply pressure to the wound, the sound of screaming filled the hall but all I could focus is on was Adriano rushing to me. Worry written all over his face, pain, guilt...all these emotions. My body that was on the cold floor soon felt warmth when Adriano picked my head up with his arms and put my head on his lap. I smile at him and with all my strength I have left I touch his cheek and smile.
"A-a-a-aalice everything is going to be okay just hold on" he says assuring me that I'll be fine but we all know what's going to happen
"Adriano...look..-" I try to talk to him but he shushed me
"Alice its okay your gonna be okay. Don't speak..." He says as a I see his eyes fill with tears
"Adriano please...listen to me okay... I love you and please if anything happens-"
"No! Nothing is going to happen! We are going to live our lives together! You are going to be fine, we will get married, have children...just please...hold on..." He cries
"Adriano I love you and please none of this is your fault..." I try my best to hold on
"Alice I love you...don't leave me...I'm sorry, I'm so sorry..." His tears spilling, then I feel a figure on my right side
"Oh god...oh god...what..." I hear a voice say and its quite familiar and I smile and look at him
"Antonio...thank you" I smile
"Everything is going to be okay...you are an Adamo. You are strong your my-my-my-" He holds my hand tightly and I smile at him
"sorellina, ti amo fratellone e grazie" I say to him and his eyes just pour
"Adriano, I love you and I live for you. I would not know what would happen if I never met you, you are mine and I am yours forever. tu sei l'acqua di cui ho bisogno ... tu sei mia ... ti amo." I say and the last thing I see and hear is Adriano...the face of beauty. The darkness overcomes me and I feel tired...I close my eyes and sleep.....

Who do you think shot Alice? Dmitri or someone else who was in the room with them? I always feel devastated for Adriano! He just got her back...but do you think Alice is really gone or she's just unconscious? Leave a comment!
