Jess Daniels turned to her brother who sat on the bench beside her and smiled deviously. "Brother of mine, I have the sudden urge to travel somewhere new."
Her brother looked at her and placed his boot-clad feet on her lap. he took a loud gulp of his coca-cola and smacked his lips. "Sister of mine, you know I can't timetravel within five hours of the last jump."
"But twenty-first century London is so boring. Especially when there are battles to be fought."
He cocked an eyebrow at her and took another swig of his pop. "What am I going to do with you?"
"Send me to some godforsaken land that happens to have either the Daleks, Cybermen, Sontarns, Silence, or Weeping Angels.... Please?"
He sat up straight and tossed his empty bottle over his shoulder. She gave him a look of disapproval.
"You and I both know that Global Warming is not going to destroy the Earth. The sun expanding will."
"Look, I really want to go somewhere we have never been before. Preferably somewhere you won't meet some girl and ditch me while I fight off red-eyed Ood."
"How does tea with Winston Churchill sound?"
She sighed and crossed her arms. "We just did that yesterday. And he kept on asking us about the Doctor the entire time. He really needs to learn other topics to talk about. Besides, isn't that nurse there that you hooked up with last time?"
The smile appeared on Jack's face . "Oh... Yeah. Thank you for reminding me about that wonderful experience..."
She covered her ears. "Ew! Don't go spouting off about everything again!"
He stood and paced, looking at his watch. 'Well, we have ten minutes to decide where we want to go. Then my ability will be fully charged."
"I love how you refer to your abilities as if they are electronic devices." She remarked. "Hey, what about tea time with Queen Elizabeth I? She will be so old, you won't ditch me, and she won't ask about the Doctor at all."
"Sounds great. We will get to meet the Virgin Queen. A rare opportunity." He smiled devishly.
"Gross. You better not do that."
"Do what?" He feigned innocence.
"I read your thoughts, and trust me, bad idea. You could seriously get in alot of trouble with not onlyme, but the Doctor. And you know how he gets."
"No, I don't. And neither do you! All we know is from dad's stories."
"Exactly. I don't plan on meeting the man with the blue box just yet."
Jack looked down as his watch beeped. "And we're off!"
She hooked her arm through his and clung tight. "Let us pussyfoot!"
"Let's go meet Queen Elizabeth I!" Her brother closed his eyes and launched them into the Time Vortex."
