(If you guys don't live in the USA, sorry but you will be in this story XD Use your imagination lol)
Your Perspective:
I bolted upright as soon as my alarm went off this morning. This is it, I thought. Today is the day! I jumped up, turned my alarm off, and grabbed the outfit I had put together the night before- a (fave color) scoop neck t-shirt and a black skirt that just reached my knees. I'd put it on after my shower. I picked up my phone and began dialing as I walked out of my room and into the kitchen.
"Hello?" The person on the other line asked, sleepily.
"Zoe! Yeah, it's me, just wondering when you were getting up."
"(Y/N), it's like really early. We're not leaving until eight."
"That gives us two hours. Are you ready yet?" I joked.
"Give me at least an hour." she yawned.
"Alright, am I driving or are you?"
"You're driving. We don't have a car here, remember? And honestly, I'm not used to the way you guys drive." she laughed.
"Right. Well, come upstairs once you're ready!" I said, before hanging up. Mental facepalm. I knew they didn't have a car in America, I picked them up from the airport!
My life has been crazy the last few weeks. My YouTube channel, (YT/N), has really started to gain popularity, and two weeks ago I did my first real collab! With Tyler Oakley. It was probably the best day of my life. Then Zoella and Joe Sugg came to Michigan to collab with me, and bring me to an exclusive party that all the YouTubers were going to be at. It was in London. Squeal! I've already done two videos with Joe and Zoe. They're hilarious, and I'm so glad they like me! I'm overly excited to see all the other YouTubers. Inner fangirl, I think.
I poured myself a bowl of my favorite cereal and ate it while listening to my Spotify playlist. The one I chose that morning was my three favorite bands, Imagine Dragons, Panic! At the Disco, and Twenty One Pilots. It was going to be a great day, so it required some great music! After pretty much inhaling my breakfast, I took the quickest shower imaginable, got dressed, and checked the time. 6:30. I groaned. This was going to be a long wait.
At about 7:30, Joe came upstairs, wearing a grey muscle shirt and jeans. He smiled at me, then went to the cupboard to look for food. My food! I almost got angry before I realized that if they were staying in my apartment, I was probably expected to feed them too. Well, there goes groceries this month. Good thing we wouldn't be here long.
"Where's Zoe?" I asked.
"Oh, you know. Doing her makeup so she looks pretty." he said, drawing out the word and making a funny face. I laughed.
"Right. Oh, crap! Makeup!" I groaned again and looked in the mirror. Of all the things to forget, I forget to put my face on. (Again, if you don't wear makeup, sorry. But this comes into play later in the story so I can't take it out.) My (hair length) hair had dried into semi-straight waves, and I decided I had to straighten/curl it before we left, too.
"Why do all you girls obsess with that stuff?" Joe asked, shaking his head.
"I mean, I don't put that much on. Just enough so I don't look like a zombie in the morning." I explained, walking down the hall and back into my room. After slapping on some foundation, I put a bit of eyeliner on the bottom of my eyes, mascara on just the top lashes, and some pink gloss on my lips. Then just a touch of blush on my cheeks, and I was ready to go. (Straightening/Curling) my hair took ten more minutes, and by the time I got back in the kitchen, Zoe was sitting at the dining room table, eating a bagel. I checked my phone. It was time to go!
"Zoe, you better eat fast because It's seven fifty five." I warned.
"I can eat on the way. Let's go!"
"Woah, woah, woah. Wait for me!" Joe yelled from the living room.
"Well turn the TV off then!" I yelled back. We all grabbed our jackets and headed out to the parking lot. My car was surprisingly hard to find, since it was a holiday weekend and everyone was parked everywhere. We finally spotted my little (fave color) (fave car) and walked over to it. "Who's ready for this?" I asked excitedly.
"It's going to be great!" Zoe said, "Everyone's going to love you." I smiled. I couldn't wait to meet everyone! I really wanted to see Dan, Phil, Marcus, Louise, Troye, Tyler, PJ-
"I still can't believe you drive that." Joe said jokingly, chuckling.
"Hey mister. I love (name of car)!" (If you don't name your car, you're boring XD jk I'm sure you're all wonderful people.)
"You named it?" he said, getting into the passenger seat.
"Of course I did!" I replied happily. I got in the driver's seat and Zoe sat down behind me. "If I didn't, it'd just be boring."
"Well, you certainly aren't. The more I learn about you, the weirder you are." he laughed, and soon we were all laughing as I pulled out of the apartment building's parking lot and onto the street.
"Is that bad?" I asked, nervously. I didn't want the other YouTubers to think I was weird.
"No, I think it's a rather good thing. You're not usual, so you're not boring." he clarified, and I smiled with relief. This was going to be a good week.
