I opened the dark wood door and burst into the room, ready to interrogate Joe- but I froze when the guys in the room all turned to stare at me. PJ, Phil, Chris, Caspar, and Troye were literal deer in headlights upon my entrance into the room. Why are they all staring at me? I wondered.

"Um, I'm just looking for Joe," I mumbled awkwardly, just loud enough for them to hear me. They continued to stare before Caspar's face broke into a huge smirk.

"Joe, you hear that? Your girlfriend wants to talk to you." He sang towards the door to the master bath as the rest of the boys, besides Phil, laughed. Joe walked out in a blue shirt and skinny jeans looking quite annoyed.

"She's not my girlfriend, Caspar." He grumbled, huffing and walking towards me. He grabbed me by the shoulder and dragged me into the hallway, slamming the door behind us. "Sorry, they always do that."

"You can apologize for them after you tell me what the hell is wrong with you." My tone must have taken him aback, and his eyes widened before he ran his hand through his hair for probably the hundredth time today.

"I don't know what you're talking about." He lied. He lied. Straight to my face.

"Joe I know when you're lying, don't even try to pull that crap with me," I accused. He sighed.

"It's fine, it's nothing. Nothing that you need to know, anyway."

"I never said I needed to know. I said you needed to tell me."

"And why is that?"

"Because you've become a pretty close friend to me lately and I'd kind of like to know if you're okay."

"Yeah. I'm okay." He turned to go back into the room and I stopped him, grabbing his arm.

"Why won't you tell me?" I asked, determined to find out. I was a stubborn one.

"(Y/N), don't. I'm fine."

"No, you're not. And I'm not leaving you alone until you tell me."

"What do you want me to say?!"

"Just tell me what's wrong, Joe!"

"Fine! How about I can't deal with the fact that almost every guys out there is hitting on you? I knew you first! I told you and I told them I like you and the guys don't even care and I'll never have a chance with you! How's that?" He yelled in a sudden burst of anger. I froze. He was really mad now, and loud enough that the guys in the bedroom behind us could probably hear him.

"Joe-"

"Don't. I already know." And with that, he stormed off, through the living room and out the door. I didn't even follow him, I just stood there. Stunned. Did he really think everyone else was flirting with me? And what did that matter? It's not like we were dating. I couldn't understand why he was so mad at me. I didn't do anything!

I stood up and decided I needed to talk to someone, so I opened the door to the guys' room again. Just like last time, they all turned around to stare at me- but this time, it was for a very different reason.
