Your Perspective:

He held the door open for me as we reached the McDonald's, and I stood where I was. He gave me a questioning look.

"You go first," I told him. He walked in, but not before shaking his head with a chuckle. I followed him inside and was pleased to see that not many people were there this morning.

"What do you want?" He asked.

"A hashbrown," I shrugged, sitting down at a booth. Joe walked off, and I took the jacket off my shoulders and held it. I noticed something fall out of the pocket- a folded up piece of paper. And, even though I knew I shouldn't, I unfolded it. "List of Numbers for (Y/N)," it read. I read through them all and smiled. Joe had gotten the numbers of all my favorite YouTubers for me! I quickly folded it back up and stuffed it back into the leather pocket as I saw him return with two bags of food. He sat down across from me and handed me one of them.

"I only asked for a hashbrown, Joe," I reminded him I began pulling the contents out of my bag. A sandwich, a hashbrown, and a smoothie. "How much was this?" I asked, rummaging through my pockets for money to pay him back.

"Free," he said, shrugging.

"Joe."

"You're not paying me back."

"Joe!"

"What?"

"How much was it?" he shrugged again, and I took a deep breath. "Sorry, I appreciate it. But I didn't do anything for you."

"Didn't have to," he stated plainly. He was difficult to figure out. He seemed so sensitive and vulnerable yesterday, now suddenly he's acting stubborn and blunt. I couldn't decide which side of him I liked more. I ate my hashbrown in silence as he ate his sandwich, and I put mine back in the bag. "You're going to eat that, right?" He asked.

"I don't know. Do you want it?"

"No. I just want to make sure you actually eat something today."

My breath got caught in my throat. Was he the first person to notice I was avoiding food? Was he going to call me out?

"Why?" I asked shakily.

"Because you should eat?" he said, as if it were obvious. Maybe he didn't notice. "Just promise you'll eat it later."

"...Okay." I said.

"Thanks," he said. His lips turned up slightly into a smile. "Let's go back then."

"Right." I agreed. "Thanks for breakfast."

"Anything for you, princess," he said. He didn't call me princess in the same joking way as he used it with Zoe... Was that sarcasm? Or- "And remember, lobby at noon." He winked.

"I'll be there." I replied, following him out the door and back to the hotel.

Author's Note!

Right, so I know I'm spending a lot of time talking about you and Joe but I PROMISE you will get a lot of time with the others too before you make the choice. OOOH SEE WHAT I DID THERE? No? Okay, I'll let myself out...
