Your Perspective:

When I woke up, Joe was gone. I sat up and rubbed my eyes before looking around, spotting him just walking out of the bathroom. In a towel.

"Morning," he smirked. Zoe was nowhere to be found.

"Morning," I mumbled, staring at his six pack. I'm not joking, he has a freaking six pack. Those pictures from tumblr weren't exaggerating one bit... Wow.

"Done drooling, princess?" he mused. I forced my eyes to move back up to his face, and I smirked.

"You wish." No, (Y/N), stop flirting with him! You don't want to give him the wrong idea... Or is it? Just stop. "Where's Zoe?" I asked, effectively changing the topic.

"She left a couple minutes ago to meet up with Louise," he replied, shaking another towel through his hair before throwing it to the side and sitting on the end of my bed. "Do you know what time it is?"

"Uh... No." I said, checking my phone. "10:13."

"Everyone is meeting up in the lobby at noon," he said, "Just make sure you're ready."

"Alright..." I yawned, rolling over onto my stomach and turning so I was facing the foot of the bed. Joe fell back so he was lying beside me.

"How'd you sleep?" he asked, flashing me a smile. Butterflies.

"Pretty well, actually," I confessed, "I wasn't even tired though, I didn't think I'd fall asleep so easily."

"That's good," he said happily. How could I not sleep well when he was there? Then a thought ran across my mind and I inhaled sharply. "What?" he asked.

"Did... Um... Did you sleep in my bed the entire night?" I asked, "Like... Did Zoe see?" I didn't know why that would make me nervous, but it did. What would she do if she knew he liked me?

"Are you kidding? I'm always the first one awake. She has no idea."

"Is that good or bad?" I wondered aloud.

"Good. She freaks if she finds out I have a crush." he said, chuckling.

"Who do you have a crush on, Joe?" We both turned to the door and saw Zoe walk through with a smug look on her face. Joe sat bolt upright. He tried to cover his shock and ran a hand through his hair.

"No one," he lied, "I was just telling (Y/N) that you freak out if I have a crush. She was asking what it was like to be your brother." I smiled and nodded. He is really good at lying... I wonder if he'd ever lie to me like that? I suddenly got really sad. What if he already has?

"Oh, alright," Zoe said, turning into the bathroom and shutting the door behind her.

"Woah, (Y/N), what's wrong?" Joe asked, seeing my expression. I sat up and quickly smiled.

"Nothing! Just tired, that's all." I lied. Well, I'm good at lying too, and I haven't lied to him about anything important... He went into the bathroom after Zoe was done and came back dressed in a black t shirt and skinny jeans.

"If there's anything wrong you know you can tell me though. You do know that, right?" He gave me a concerned look. He obviously didn't believe that I was fine. Time for a cover up.

"Just nervous to meet everyone." I explained. It wasn't technically a lie, just not what I had been thinking about at the moment. "Do you think they'll like me?"

"Oh, don't worry about that!" he exclaimed, "They're going to love you. How could they not?"

"You really think so?" I asked.

"Hey, I've only known you a couple weeks and I do, so I'm sure they will too." he assured me with a smirk. "You only have an hour and a half to get ready by the way, you might want to go get breakfast."

"I'm not really hungry." I said, waving it off.

"Listen, I haven't eaten either. We can go get some food now, maybe you can eat it on the way or something." he decided.

"Really, Joe, I'm not hungry."

"Ready to go?" He smirked and held out his hand. He obviously wasn't going to let it go, so I took his hand and he helped me up. He already had his jacket in his hand- when did he get that? He lead me out the door. "We'll be back soon Zoe," He yelled, before slamming the door.

"You have your keycard, right?" I asked.

"... Zoe can let us in."

"Joe! What if something happens? My phone is in there!" I hit him on the arm.

"Calm down, princess. I've got my phone. We'll be fine." He answered, patting my head jokingly. I just nodded pathetically. "Where did you want to go?" Joe asked. I shrugged. "Let's just pick up something from McDonald's then," he decided, grabbing my hand and leading me downstairs and out of the hotel. I was a bit surprised when we didn't head for the car. Instead, Joe lead me through the streets and sidewalks to the restaurant. It was a beautiful morning, and the sun was shining brightly down on us. Despite the beauty, it was quite cold, and I rubbed my hands on my arms to keep warm.

"You cold?" he asked, stopping.

"A little, but I'm fine." I replied, starting to walk again. I could see the sign now, so I knew where I was going.

"Wait," he said, taking off his jacket.

"No, I can't." I said. He smirked and put the jacket around my shoulders.

"You're a stubborn one." He mumbled, walking again. I grinned and pulled the jacket around me tighter.
