I slowly opened my eyes only to meet the familiar white ceiling of my room.

I groaned and put my arm over my eyes.

Oh god how many times am I going to do this?! This is my third time waking up like this with no memory before the darkness.

What did I do this time?

I turned to my right arm and saw small black lines peeking out of the gauze.

I narrowed my eyes. What the. . .

I sat up and unwrapped my arm then gasped when I saw my brand had gotten bigger! And now there was a red circle as the center of the black designs that nearly consumed my entire forearm.

The door suddenly opened and Shane came strolling in. He seemed shocked to see me at first then smiled.

"Wow you were only out for a day this time." he commented.

"Really?" I asked almost a little excited then I shook my head. "My brand is bigger!" I showed him my arm.

His eyes widened. "Wow that’s actually a cool design. That would make an epic tattoo."

I rolled my eyes. "Glad you’re not concerned about the fact that I’ll become an Akito death demon soon. The blood moon must be coming soon" I murmured the last part and gently ran my fingers along my brand.

He sighed and sat down on my bed. "Harmony, I did some research on blood moons."
