To say things were confusing and awkward for me is an understatement. I felt things were awkward between me and Darren but he didn’t seem to think so, probably because he doesn’t know Archer kissed me! He still smiled at me warmly and kept a protective arm around me when we sat together like before.

And I feel things are also awkward and confusing between Archer and I because well . . . he kissed me! It should be awkward that my mate decided to kiss me right?

Don’t answer that. I’ve heard the stories of what happens. Your wolf is overjoyed and is a sign of being claimed by their mate. Honestly I think your inner wolf just over thinks it. It’s nothing but a silly kiss. But in a normal mating situation the couple would be overjoyed and take it as a sign of moving forward in the mating process.
