I'm as impatient as you guys! I want to get this out there to ease your questions about what Harmony is. But i'm not giving everything away in just one chapter :P

I slowly opened my eyes to find myself staring at a darkened ceiling.

Where am I?

A dull pain came to my attention and I raised my right arm to my face so I could examine it.

The middle of my forearm was covered in white cotton gauze with a small red spot in the center.

Was I injured? I don’t remember being hurt.

I sat up and looked around the room. I realized I was in my room with the lights off.

I turned to the clock on the nightstand.

11:52 PM

Oh my god! Have I been asleep for 4 hours?!

I threw the covers off of my and froze all together when I saw my clothes.

My white tang top was stained with dry blood.

"Harmony, you’re awake!"

I looked up only to have Kenzie attacked me with a hug.

I winced and grinded my teeth when pressure was applied to my wound.

She pulled back. "Sorry. You gave us quite a scare."
