After explaining the conditions Sebastian had with the whole giving me information in exchange for sex, which i had always hated; the first time id exchange sex for information with him id gone home and taken three showers then brushed my teeth till i couldnt feel my gums anymore but it didnt help, he exploded and it took Brendon, Shane and Mich to shuve him out the doors of the club and into the van.
The ride back was horribly awkward as we sat engulfed in silence.
Id felt so releaved when we finally returned to the pack house.
I walked at the back of the group and fumbled the paper with the address in my hand absentmindedly.
"Harmony?"
i looked up at Archer who had stopped walking.
I stopped too.
"We need to talk." he said.
"Theres nothing to talk about. Sebastian is the past--"
"No not about that."
"Oh. . .ok."
we stood there until everyone went in then he turned around to face me.
I bit my lip as he remained silent. "Whats up?"
he took a deep breath. "Would you please forgive me. . .for everything ive done and said to you?"
i blinked. Well this is. . .sudden.
"I know a simply sorry could never be enough but i just. . .i dont know i feel i need your forgiveness. . .but i also want it."
i felt something inside me begin to come to life.
Forgive him. . . A small voice i could only assume to be my wolf.
I looked down. "Its not that simply Archer."
"I know it isnt. . .but it was worth a try." he sighed.
I waited a moment to see if hed speak.
"Is that is?" i asked.
"I guess. . .ill be honest im not entirly sure why i suddenly needed your forgiveness."
"Its just the bond." i murmured.
"Yea. . ."
this is getting awkward.
"Listen. . .we have alot of work to do. Ill see you later." i said and rushed passed him and into the house.
I stood in the foyer a moment then sighed and walked into the hall only to be greeted by a heart attack when i nearly ran into an angry looking Kenzie.
"You just scared me half to death!" i exclaimed.
"Good!"
i groaned. "Dont tell me youre mad cause i didnt forgive him."
she sighed. "Im not mad. Its just. . .hard seeing you two. Youre mates! Do you know how many people would kill to have the luck you two have? Its so rare to find your mate!"
"I heard it was becoming more common. Esspcially with Alphas. Theyre finding their mates left and right!"
"Thats because usually the wolf spirit that has possessed the Alpha selects the host's mate sometime during the host's life but they have a pretty good idea of the exact characteristics and such that they look for in a mate. Normal werewolves have their mates predetermined at birth."
"Yea i know." I sighed. "Mates suck."
"They do not! Mates are beautiful and loving and special! Theyre your destiny." she coed getting lost in her fantasies.
I smiled and rolled my eyes. I guess its better she doesnt take my mating situation and judge all mates.
"if you say so?"
the sound of stomping heels came rushing down the stairs and Marissa appeared at the top.
She paused when she saw me then glared coldly. "You!"
she stormed down all the way and came straight up to me.
i groaned internally. What does she want? "Ye--"
her hand collided with my cheek and i stumbled backwards with surprise.
I blinked and looked up to see Marissa now crying. i turned to Kenzie who was covering her mouth with her hands and her eyes wide with shock.
"You ruined everything!" Marissa shrieked.
I turned back to her and glared. "How did i ruin everything?!"
"Archer called off the engagment and broke up with me!"
i glared back. "Hows that my fault?!"
"Because everything was perfect until you came! I dont know what you did or said to Archer but you cant stop us! He loves me! Hell always love me! Not you so dont even think of interfering!"
"B--"
"You know what? Youve embaressed this pack enough. As Alpha Female, i order you to leave!" she shouted.
"You arent Alpha Female!"
"Yes i am! Archer is just confused and guilt ridden. Hes confusing his guilt from high school for present day love--"
"Youre psychatic!" i exclaimed.
"I am not! Just leave already! No one here wants you." she ran her eyes over my body. "No matter what you wear."
"Ok thats it!"
"Harmony no!" Kenzie exclaimed grabbing me as i dove at Marissa.
"Harmony she isnt--"
"Worth it? No she isnt but she sure as hell deserves it!" i snarled and tried to wrench out of Kenzie's grasp.
"Whats going on?" Archer demanded as he walked in from the foyer.
"Oh Archer!" Marissa exclaimed and rushed to him, throwing her arms around his neck. "Shes being so cruel to me. Look! She just tried to attack me." she whimpered.
Archer narrowed his eyes and turned to me.
I just scuffed and turned away as Kenzie finally released me.
"Is that so?" he asked.
"Yes! It was horrible! Shes a menace to the entire pack. Please get rid of her." Marissa begged.
"I might. . ."
i instantly turned to him and was ready to demand a repeat.
"But answer this." He said.
"Anything." she coed.
"Why can i smell Harmony's blood and none of yours?" he asked.
Marissa instantly tensed up.
I blinked. Im bleeding? All she did was slap me.
I moved my tongue around my mouth and sure enough i tasted blood.
I dabbed my finger on my tongue and looked at it.
"Oh you are bleeding." Kenzie said.
"I hadnt even noticed." i confessed. The damn bitch had hit me way harder then i thought! I mustve bit down on my tongue.
"Harmony. Mackenize. Would you excuse us? We have to talk." Archer said.
"Of course." Kenzie said and we walked out of the hall.
Once we were in the kitchen she turned to me. "When did our lives become a teen drama?"
"Good question."
