Chapter Ten

I didn't listen through out the meeting. Hindi naman kasi talaga ako kabilang doon at hindi ko naman dapat alamin ang buong detalye sa magaganap na shooting. I just wanted to be a part of it just to annoy Kedge.

Panay ang sulyap ko sa kaniya— no. I just stared at him the whole time and I never got bored. I really wished to be noticed by Angel for her to get a hint that I am flirting with her boyfriend so it would be easy to destroy their relationship. But she didn't even glanced at me because she gave full attention to Dino. Kedge too, actually. No one noticed me except the man who was sitting beside me.

"Pumunta ka ba talaga dito para tunawin lang si K?" tanong ng katabi ko. Napalingon ako sa kaniya at naabutan siyang kunwari ay nakikinig sa meeting.

Ibinalik ko ang atensyon ko kay Kedge, "Mmmm... Pwede." wala sa sarili kong sagot.

I couldn't help to let my eyes linger on Kedge's expressive eyes and soft-looking pinkish lips. They are just too much for me. I can imagine him staring  at me intently with his deep eyes like he was searching for something in my soul then it slowly went down on my lip like he was craving for it... like he waited so long just to taste it. I can feel torture every second... I want him to kiss me bad.

I bit my lip. God, how I missed my man so much.

Pagkatapos ng meeting,  lalabas na sana ako nang may humawak sa braso ko. "Hey." It was Dino.

Lumingon ako sa kaniya. Kami na lang ang natitira sa kwartong ito. "Hey..."

"I'm sorry." he said.

Ngitian ko siya. "Wala iyon." I really don't mind what happened. Dino is a great guy. Wala nga yata akong karapatan para magalit sa kaniya pagkatapos ng lahat ng ginawa ko sa kaniya noon.

"Wala na ba.. ugh talaga... t-tayong pagasa?"

That question made my mouth shut. Sa pag-tanong niya no'n, damang-dama ko ang pagka-hopeless niya para sa aming dalawa. He seemed so hurt.

"Dino..."

"I know. That was a stupid question, I'm sorry. Huwag mo nang isipin."

"Dino. Mahal kita bilang kai-" he interrupted.

"Kaibigan. Kaibigan nalang. Oo, alam ko."

"At alam mo kung sinong tinitibok ng puso ko hanggang ngayon."

Magsasalita sana siya ngunit hindi niya alam kung paano sasabihin. He pressed his lips together as he nodded. Fuck, I hate to see him broken. I just hate breaking Dino apart.

"Dino, I'm not the one for you. Mayroon pa diyang magagandang babae na karapat-dapat sa iyo. Babae na mas worthy sa pagmamahal mo. Dino you're an amazing person. Huwag mong sayangin sa akin 'yang pagmamahal mo na di ko masuklian..."

I guess my speech was quite effective because I saw him smile and it was a genuine smile. Tumangu-tango siya at hinila ako papalapit sa kaniya para yakapin. "I love you." he said, tightening our hug.

"I love you too." Humiwalay ako at ginulo ang kaniyang buhok. "Messy hair for the beach, aye?"

He laughed but it faded when he stared at me. To my nose. To my lips. He was standing so close like he would kiss me any second. We both jumped in shock when we heard someone       walk in...and it's just not someone... it's Kedge.

"Hey D, I was thinking if-" he was browsing down through paper when he saw us. His eyes widened. Look who's shocked too! Great! Just great! Ano naman ngayon ang iisipin nito? Na I was flirting with his cousin while playing with his bestfriend? "Oh. Sorry, I'l just come back later..." He walked out of the room.
