"gerard..." frank moaned into gerard's ear. not responding, gerard held everything in him. "you know you wanna..."
"you al-always do this to me..." gerard sighed. "i know you're trying to be as careful as i try to be.
"maybe i am, maybe i'm not, but i know how you feel," frank chuckled. "about me."
gerard bit his lip, feeling his adrenaline rush down into frank. "y-you..."
"you love me." frank smiled as gerard moaned. he hated when frank did this to him, it almost felt like peer pressure. he loved the feeling, though he didn't like the pressure frank puts onto him.
"i can't believe you."
--
the morning after, gerard was off to school; bright and early. it was 8am, gerard was underground, in the subways. he felt bad for leaving frank before he woke up, but before he left he made him coffee and gave him a small kiss on the cheek.
he knew he was also going to get costed for not being at school yesterday, but he knew it wasn't going to be something too bad. probably just more homework.
gerard squeezed onto the tight train and held onto the rail. he remembered when he met frank almost 3 months ago in the subways. what a bittersweet day, gerard thought.
he got off the train soon after and ran his way over to his school building. he entered through the double doors and up the stairs to his first class.
he saw one of his classmates, who he didn't know as well as the others, but he only knew her by "lyn-z." they weren't friends, but acquaintances, rather. they only sat next to each other in his illustrating class, but they didn't talk.
gerard sat next to lyn-z awkwardly and plopped his bag onto the floor.
"hey gerard, what happened to you yesterday?" lyn-z said as soon as he sat down.
"uh, i just wasn't here." gerard shrugged.
lyn-z rolled her eyes. "yeah, i knew you weren't here, but what happened?"
gerard shrugged again. "i just wasn't here."
"alright mr. sassy-pants." lyn-z said as she opened up her sketchbook.
they both sat in silence as they waited for their instructor and began working. they didn't talk again until the class ended, to which gerard didn't want to.
"so are you going out for lunch?" lyn-z said as she packed her bag to follow gerard out.
gerard shrugged, as he was often doing.
"if you are, do you think i can come with you?"
shrug.
lyn-z pouted. "are you mad at me?"
gerard ignored her as he walked out of the classroom and pulled out his phone to text frank.
hi frankie!!
Hi gerard. I miss you :( Thanks for the coffee<3
hey no problem :) i love you
I love you too<3
do you want lunch? i'm going out soon, and a classmate wants to come with me but i kinda don't want her to
Well tell her you don't want her to, and no I don't want lunch haha
are you sure?
Yes I'm sure, I want you to enjoy lunch and not be late coming back to class
alrighty. you have food though right?
Uh huh, don't worry
okay frankie. i'll talk to you later.
i love you :)
I love you too, gee
"hey who's that?" lyn-z asked out of nowhere, scaring gerard.
gerard held his chest. "lyn-z, you scared me... it's nobody."
"nobody? if it were nobody, you wouldn't have been texting somebody! also, if you're going to lunch right now - i'm coming with you!"
gerard bit his lip. "you're coming with me?"
"yeah! totally right? i mean we're friends, i'm assuming."
gerard turned his head away from lyn-z and sighed. "okay."
"yay!"
gerard kept repeating in his head, why.
//i saw twenty one pilots the other day and i cried so much it was amazing//
