chpt. eleven ➫ boyfriend

frank woke up in gerard's bed. he rolled over to see gerard sleeping there, too. they were both shirtless, but not bottomless. probably some heavy make-outs, frank thought. he didn't completely remember what went on, but he knew it was nothing bad. 

frank rolled out of bed and put on a t-shirt. he walked to the coffee pot and made himself and gerard some coffee. he took a long, gentle sip as he waited for his boyfriend(?) to come out of the bedroom. that gave frank time to think. was gerard his boyfriend?

he didn't sit on it too long. he noticed his phone was still in its box, awaiting to be opened. he decided to take it out and activate it.

damn, frank thought. he bought this for me. i can't believe that man.

after a few minutes of activation, frank swiped from left to right on the tiny screen. he opened his messages, contacts, telephone. he saw gerard's number already in the phone, so no need to ask him for it. he opened his notes and saw one.

hi frankie!! i bought you a phone look!! haha okay that's really all i wanted to say bye x

frank chuckled and smiled at the screen. he's so cute. 

almost on cue, gerard walked out of the bedroom. he was still shirtless and disheveled. his hair was a mess and his eyes were red from lack of sleep.

"good morning cutie." frank said to gerard. he handed him his mug of coffee as they sipped on it synchronically.

"aw thank you." gerard planted a kiss on frank's cheek. "you're so sweet."

frank hummed a tune happily. he was very content with the state him and gerard are in. "oh, gerard?"

"yeah?" gerard spun around to face frank.

"...are we dating now?"

gerard shrugged. "frank iero, d'you wanna be my boyfriend?"

frank laughed and smiled. he blushed, but tried to cover it. "yes, gerard way. i would love to be your boyfriend."

they both chuckled. gerard pulled frank in for another kiss. it was long and meaningful, the first one they shared as a couple.

"i love you, frankie." 

"i love you too, gee."
