   The next day, I got ready to pack for the trip. A carriage was supposed to pick me up, but they were running late. After about 10 minutes, my fancy ride finally rattled across the bridge. I looked back at the giant house I grew up in. The fence that Mama never liked, the window that Juan and I broke, and the recently scorched patch of grass where Estefano had "relieved himself." I don't even know if I'll ever return.

   Adios. They were the same words that Papa and Abuelo had said to me before I stepped outside. The one thing I ever was given for memory was Mama's necklace. It was made of pure silver and had a beautiful "mermaid's tear" as a pendant. I don't believe it's real, but Mama said anything was possible. As we rode on, the soft, lush hills turned into cold, sharp, and tall mountains. Luckily, I had packed some warm clothes. Clip clop clip clop. The horse's hooves made a rhythmic pattern against the stone floor. Here already? I thought.

   Next came a series of hooves drowning out the noise of my own. One by one, little carriages just like mine appeared all around me. I was aroused by all the sudden noise. People were getting out of their carriages and being led to... a castle? After what seemed to be forever, the driver of my carriage finally dismounted his horse and grabbed my luggage. I curtly thanked him and walked towards the castle. There were billions of people wandering around, either observing the castle or just lost, much like me. When I reached the gates of the castle, I saw a bunch of people waving signs around. After about a minute of searching for my name, I finally found a sign. Jennifer Cruzalez II. Yep. Pretty sure that's me.

"Mikieyu Arte Sinuy?" asked the person holding the sign

   I tried to think of something smart. It sounded kind like Italian... right? My brain, however, seemed to not be able to cooperate with my mouth. What came out was;

"Namaste? Um... Italy?"

   The boy broke out into a fit of laughter.

"It's not Italian, it's Mequire, the Dragon language." He said, still laughing.

I caught hold of his eyes for a moment and my brain went blank. They were a faint touch of blue and green. I never noticed how cute he was until I had looked at his face. I was so dazed, that I didn't even notice when he had told me to follow him.

Hey! I'm back and SO very sorry for the late update. The chapters may be short, but I will try my best to make 2 chapters daily. Unfortunately, I gave out the boy's name in the picture.

Disclaimer: I do not own the pictures,I  only edited them.

I have 2 questions for you guys.

1. What do you think about the boy?

2. What do you think about Jennifer? What type of girl is she to you?
