"Marc, No! Move!"

Everything was suddenly quiet. For some reason, the Dragon didn't hurt Marc. Instead, it just stopped, like I asked.

"Tell it to leave." Marc whispered, grabbing my attention.

I looked at him in confusion.

"Tell. It. To. Leave" he whispered again, possibly annoyed.

Shifting my attention back to the dragons, I tried my best to sound persuading.

"Leave. Now" Someone else said.

I was surprised to see the Headmaster walk up behind me and glare at the dragons. Again, his beard danced in the wind, making me think about horses for some weird reason.

In almost an instant, the two dragons lifted their enormous bat-like wings and flew up into the air. Not soon after, a large group of people had appeared, walking around and whispering about what had happened.

"Is there going to be war?...."

"I heard that some mermaid and other person ran away. What if they started it?"

Even though they got the facts wrong, I realized they were talking about Marc and I. My face reddened at the thought of him. Speaking of Marc, where was he? After a few minutes, I finally found the blonde curly head of Marc Devello. He was busy talking to the Headmaster about something. All of the sudden, someone grabbed my wrist and turned me around.

"Are you okay?"

It was Bree, her voice worried.

"Y-yes." I was surprised to see that she was completely untouched, even after fighting the dragon.

"We heal quickly..." she said, trying to push aside the awkwardness.

Just as I was about to say something, Marc turned around and caught my arm in his hand. I was stunned, his stormy blue eyes intensely looking at me.

"You are going to have to train, for real this time."

Hello guys! I'm really sorry this is a really short chapter, but on the bright side, I am possibly starting another book! Also, the rest of these chapters I will try to make at least 950 words and beyond. Hope you enjoyed!
