I squirmed against William's iron hold. Fear coarsed through my veins as Niko opened the door. What will he think?
He instead just stood there, face expressionless.
Jennifer. You have give five seconds the tell me whatever the hell is happening.
Stupid me! I forgot we could communicate.
William, he grabbed me and....
Right as I had said 'grabbed me', Niko had run across the room, time slowing as he transformed and leaped onto William. I had been flung to the side, mostly because of William. For the first time, I had seen Niko transform fully into a wolf. Usually, he just became a werewolf. This time, he was a wolf, an actual one. His fur was dark blu- ish black, while his eyes were completely blue. So captivating....
Focus Jennifer!
My eyes searched the room, looking for a weapon. There was a vase, a bobby pin, and.... a ruler? I giggled at myself for no apparent reason.
Picking up the ruler, I led my self to where the two were fighting. Niko was currently on top of William, inches away from biting his neck. William was hardly struggling, or so it seemed. Lifting my hands up, I positioned myself to strike William with the metal side. Niko was just about to say something, but I didn't catch it. Just as I swung my arms down, William smirked, putting Niko in the way.
A loud sizzling sound was heard as the ruler came in contact with Niko's fur. I instantly dropped the ruler, too shocked for words. I thought that it was just metal!
"So you're on my side now, huh." William said, his eyes glued to mine.
"I would never be on your side." I snarled, backing away.
"Oh really?" He asked, suddenly bolting forwards. His eyes suddenly flashed, and my world went black.
A vision, you ask? Yes, and no. Why? Well, because I don't know what to call it. Probably a Vlashback or Fision. Okay..... now it sounds like some sort of weird dragon.
In just a matter of seconds, I was in a completely different place. Teleportation? I don't even know......so don't ask.
My arms felt heavy and so did my legs. It's like gravity had suddenly taken a turn and wanted me to go through the, um......floor?
My thoughts were interrupted by a loud screech. I looked up, and my breath was caught in my throat. Soaring above in the air was Estefano, silver wings flapping and carrying him higher into the air. It took me a moment to realize that the area was in flames. I was in what seemed to be in a dark forest, possibly at midnight.
"What the-"
I heard the loud screech again, and looked up, training my eyes on Estefano. He held some thing in his claws, yet I wasnt quite sure what it was.
All of a sudden, Estefano dived down, tearing through the wind with it's sleek body. Just meters away from the ground, he stopped, letting the wind guide him back to the ground. Landing softly, he laid the object on the grass next to him, cooing softly. With his beak, he nudged the object, yet it didn't move. Slowly I began to walk forwards, trying to get a better look.
Then I realized that the 'object' was in fact a small little girl, brown hair spread across the ground. She had on a tiny little blue dress that was torn at the ends, etched with holes and other unrecognizable things.
I watched sadly as Estefano nudged her once more, laying down. He cooed again, right before whining and frantically prodding at the grass. Who was he trying to protect?
It took me a long moment to realize one thing..... that girl...... was me.
Hey guys! I know, probably too many cliffhangers, but at least I updated! Okay, let me stop... anyways, I hope you all enjoyed! Don't forget to vote!
(Btw... I know it's short, but this is just a filler chapter for what happens next)
