I ran as fast as I could, which in all nightmares, is never fast enough. The man caught up to me and grabbed my arm. I spun around in attempt to punch my attacker, but his reflexes were far faster than mine.
He whispered close to my ear
"You can't run from what's coming. You can't hide either. They will find you. And when they do, they'll kill you." He disappeared with an evil chuckle.
What did he mean?
I didn't have time to get an answer to that question, I got ripped out of my dream by the loud knock that came from outside the room I was in.
Where am I?
I thought to myself and looked around. Everything was so dark, almost pitch black and the sheets were dampened with sweat. There was another loud knock that came from outside the room.
"Y-yes?" I stuttered, trying to speak loudly without crying. My voice didn't even sound like mine. It was horse and strained against my throat.
I squinted to make out the person who walked in. I gasped in surprise.
"Luke?" He flipped a light switch on and I flinched and clamped my eyes shut.
"Sophia... You're awake. How do you feel?" He asked and sat in a chair next to me.
I looked at him and sighed.
"I feel okay... I was in my car - hey! Where's my car? How-" he pressed a finger to my chapped lips.
"Stay calm. I helped you out of that situation. I couldn't help your car, unfortunately..." He spoke softly and removed his finger.
"H-how am I not dead?" I looked at him and saw his face soften. He placed his hand on my shoulder and made direct eye contact with me. His pupils dilated before he spoke to me.
"Listen to me, I brought you to a hospital after your car crashed into a tree." As soon as he said that, everything after the crash altered in my brain.
"My car crashed into a tree and you took me to a hospital."
He smiled at me and brushed a strand of my hair behind my ear.
"Do you wanna go meet a few people?" He asked.
He didn't give me time to respond before grabbing my wrist and dragging me out of the room.
Where is he taking me? And why do I trust him? I only spoke to him for a few seconds before he ran out of the counseling center.
He lead me into a musty, old, Victorian living room. Where I came face to face with three other boys."Sophia..." Luke paused, raising his hand and pointing to one of the boys. He was a tall, broad boy, with dirty blonde and almost shoulder length hair. His Led Zeppelin shirt hung loosely on his broad frame while his ripped skinny jeans made his legs look long, but not too long.
"This is Ashton, a very dear friend of mine." He continued. Ashton waved and smirked at me. He was very charismatic.
Luke then pointed to a shorter boy next to Ashton. Unlike Ashton, this boy was slightly less broad on the shoulders, he had tan skin, and brown hair with a shock of blonde down the middle of his quiff. And unlike Ashton, his Fifa T-shirt was tighter on him, bringing out his muscles. He was wearing skinny jeans that were ripped at the knees.
"This is Calum, also a close friend." Calum lifted the corner of his mouth up in a half smile.
Luke furrowed his eye brows as he notices that the third boy was gone. I turned around and found myself inches away from him. I smiled nervously.
"Hello, I am Michael. It's a pleasure to meet you." He smirked. Luke pulled me away from him and made me face the blue eyed blonde once more.
"He's a flirt. So, don't mind him." Luke awkwardly looked at his feet.
Weird... I could have sworn he had a little jealousy in his icy eyes.
