"Bro, she's into you." Ashton teased me.

"No she isn't." I rolled my eyes.

"Well, you should still go to the party. Especially because your sister's going to be there." Calum suggested.

I took that into recognition. She'll most likely be there, so I have to go protect Sophia.

"I'd better get ready then." I stood up and hurried to my closet.

Pulling out a black tuxedo I bought a long time ago. I got dressed in it. Still fits me perfectly.

I grabbed some roses from a vase and walked out, leaving the boys and our house. Walking to the courtyard was two and a half miles away... I huffed in annoyance and decided to just run there. I got there in minutes, walking in casually. I looked around and saw my girl in the middle of the courtyard with a drink in her hand.

I smile and butterflies come alive as I walk towards her with confidence. All of that shattered when a boy grabs her hand and kisses it. He grabbed her by her waist and kissed her forehead. My heart, or what I had left of it, dropped to the pit of my stomach and the empty spot in my chest filled with anger and jealousy.

Why was I getting so pissed for something so little? Of course she would have a boyfriend, she's beautiful...

I gathered myself and walked to a corner of the courtyard by some refreshments and watched as the two danced together. I smiled and scanned the crowd for my sister, who was gone.

I felt a piercing pain in my chest and gasped as I looked down and saw a piece of chair through my torso. I fell to my knees groaning in agony.

"RUN SOPHIA!!! GO! GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE!" I panicked as I pulled the chair leg out of me and looked up to face my sister.
