"I told you that was a bad idea, Luke." Michael said and he shook his head at me. "You two had a good thing."

I rolled my eyes and stormed after Sophia. "Hey!" I called after her before running to beat her to her car. "Sophia... I can explain -"

"Explain what, Luke?!" She unlocked her car and opened the door before getting inside.

"I was just getting back at you." I said.

"Yeah? Well, I never slept with Jesse and it wasn't that serious. Also, you forgot that I was with Jesse before you. So even if I was cheating on you, I wouldn't be, I would be cheating on Jesse. Get the fuck out of my face."

And then she left.

What was I thinking? Why would I do this? Why would I hurt her like this?
