Chapter 1

Emily's PoV

"Goodbye mom, I love you!" I said while hugging her tightly. Holding my tears in. Bella was saying goodbye to Phil our stepdad. 

"I love you too sweetie, be safe and look after your sister," she stated being all motherly, stopping our hugging to look me in the eye before hugging me tightly again. 

"I will," I replied, "Mum you have to say goodbye to Bella or we will miss our flight." 

"Okay."

My mum let go of me and rushed over to Bella giving her a tight hug just as she had given me. I watched the two of them say their goodbyes until I was spoken to by Phil.

"Take care Em, look after your sister and stay out of trouble," he stated.

"As long as you take care of my mum," I instantly retorted. He nodded in response.

I walked over to the taxi that our parents hired to take us to the airport. I put my luggage along with Bella's into the back of the taxi. I then looked at the time as I closed the boot. Shit. It was 3:15pm and our plane leaves at 4:40. 

I shouted at my mum and Bella,"Sorry to ruin the goodbye moment but we need to the leave or else the plane will leave without us!" 

Bella quickly nodded before taking her final hug with mum and walked over to me beside the taxi. We got into the taxi and I rolled down the window. 

"We love you, both of you," I heard my mum shout emotionally. 

We replied, "Love you too."

The taxi drove us all the way to the airport where we took all our luggage and made it in time to the plane. We boarded the plane and sat next to each other. We talked for a bit until Bella fell asleep. I decided to listen to some music and draw for another 20 minutes until I fell asleep.

"Emily, wake up, Emily," I heard Bella say to me before I opened my eyes to see that we had landed. I gathered all my stuff and we got off the plane. Bella and I went to the area where we collected out luggage before we walked out into the airport to look for our dad. 

Bella quickly tugged on my arm saying, "There he is." 

She pulled me with her as she walked of into that direction. We eventually made it to him. He was smiling at us clearly very happy to see his girls who were all grown up since the last time we saw him.

"Emily," he stated pointing at me. I nodded. "Bella," to which she nodded in response.
"My little girls are all grown up," I smiled at his words so did Bella. "Come on girls this way to the car." We followed him to the car we got in and started driving to our new home.

"You cut your hair since the last time I saw you?" He states though it comes out more like a question. It was directed to Bella who was sat in the front with Charlie. 

"Yeah but it's grown back again," Bella replies. Charlie mumbles a response which I can't hear as I'm too focused on the nature we are passing.

I was brought back to reality when Charlie started directing the same question to me. I smiled and said, "Yeah I did but it has grown back since then however unlike Bella I did get some blonde highlights put in." 

Charlie smiled and replied, "It suits you." 

The rest of the car ride back to the house was just as awkward as it was when we were talking to him.

We finally reached the house. Once the car was parked me and Bella got out and grabbed our bags before following Charlie to the door. He showed us around the house and then took us to our bedrooms.

"So Bella your bedroom is the first door on the left and Emily yours is the bedroom at the end of the hall on the left, now both your bedrooms are still joined by a door inside like it used to be when you were younger, hope you don't mind," he paused looking at us. We nodded in response. 

He continued talking, "okay that's good, what else, oh yeah the bathroom is on the right opposite Emily's room, you have to share, then my room is the first room on the right, I won't be sharing a bathroom with you girls since I have an ensuite in my room, is that okay?" He finally questions. We nodded again. He left as me and Bella walked into her room.

It was beautiful, pretty much the same as when we were younger, except it was slightly more grown up. 
I looked around trying to locate the door that connected both mine and Bella's room. I found it, opened it and walked in leaving Bella to unpack in peace. 
My room was exactly the same as Bella's but it was a light purple instead of the dark purple in her room. I started to unpack my stuff.

Once I was finished unpacking. I got ready for bed and went to see Bella, I noticed she wasn't asleep yet and said goodnight before closing the door and getting into bed. It was nice to finally close my eyes and drift of into a peaceful sleep after a long day travelling, leaving and reuniting with family.

Not moment later was I completely in a deep sleep.
