Chapter 16

Emily's PoV

A few days later, me and Bella stood in front of our father telling him that we had dates. His face was priceless, to be honest he was shocked and confused since me and Bella are not the type of girls to even think about, dating boys. 

He recovers saying, "Who are they?"

"Edward Cullen and-" Bella starts, "Jasper Hale," I finish.  

"Aren't they too old for you?" My dad questions. 

"No they're juniors, we juniors," I answer.

"Please they are right outside," Bella says.

"They really want to meet you in person," I say. 

Me and Bella both look at our dad praying he will meet them and let us go. He finished cleaning his gun before clicking it into place, making us jump. 

"Bring them in then," he finally says. 

Bella then goes and gets them while I just grab my bag, since I was staying at the Cullen's later that evening anyway. They all come back in as I pick up my bag.

Edward walks over to greet my dad, "Hi, I'm Edward Cullen and this is my brother Jasper," Jasper smiles at my dad and quickly shakes his hand, I could tell he was struggling, so I walked up to them. 

I took Jasper's hand and felt the Sparks flow through both of us. I could see that it made him feel better knowing I was there with him. Bella and Edward sent both of us a knowing smile while my dad just sighed, realising who was going with who. 

"Dad we should really get going," I say, smiling at him. 

"Look at you, all happy," he pauses and looks up at Jasper before looking at me again, "Jasper seems good for you, just be careful though Emily, I don't want to lose you again," he says looking me in the eyes, giving a small smile. 

I pull out of Jasper's grasp and go and give my dad a hug, "You won't lose me," I whisper into his ear.

I then let go and walk past Edward and Bella, dragging Jasper with me outside, leaving Bella to deal with dad. 

Me and Jasper get into the backseats of the car. Once inside I turn to Jasper. 

"So what exactly are we doing? I got out of that house before I even knew what we were doing," I say to Jasper.

Jasper chuckled, "We are going to play baseball." He looked to see my reaction. I just grinned and looked at him with wide eyes. He just laughed.

Suddenly Bella and Edward got into the car and we drove off towards the place where the game was being held. I was so excited and I could tell that Jasper could feel it. 

I could see Bella looking at me through the mirror. I looked back at her and said, "Can I help you?" She just looked at me and smiled.

"You just seem so excited to play Baseball," she replies just as we arrive. I just grin.

I get out only to find that I couldn't play because I was human.
