Chapter 11

Emily's PoV

I walked into the living room and went over to the TV. I turned it on and put on a film. I then walked back over to my bag and got out my art book and pencils. I sat on the sofa and began drawing while listening to the film. 

Suddenly all the others piled into the living room and took a seat while watching TV. We all just sat their in silence until I decided to stop drawing and ask Edward a question. 

"So Edward, where have you been all week? I know the others said you were ill but I now know that you weren't," I ask 

He sighed. "I was away visiting our cousins. Why do you want to know?" He questions me. 

"I don't really know but I will tell you something if you don't talk to my sister soon I swear to god I will go crazy again, all she can talk about is how is Edward? Have you seen him recently? I'm gonna confront him the next time I see him? What's his problem?" I reply, "it's so annoying." He smirks. 

"She really talks about me," he asks.

"Yes she does," I say, "I feel like your not telling me something Edward, about why you left."

"Alright, I left because of you sister," he states looking at me. 

"My sister?"

"Yes your sister." 

"Why?" I ask.

"She's my mate but also my blood singer and I didn't want to hurt her so I left to get my thirst under control," he states. 

"Oh, okay, just talk to my sister soon, she really wants to see you again." 

"I will," he says.

Suddenly the door opens and in walks Carlisle. The others all get up and so do I as Carlisle walks over to me and introduces himself. 

"Hi you must be Emily Swan, I'm Carlisle," he says as I shake his hand. 

"Yea that's me, it's nice to meet you Carlisle," I say politely smiling. 

"Well it's getting late, and it looks as though your tired Emily, do you want Alice to show you to your room that you will be staying in?" He asks. 

"Yes that would be nice," I say.

Once I say that everyone looks to me and start staying goodnight. I wish them goodnight too and walk upstairs with Alice. We walk to a room which I believe is actually one of their rooms. 

"So where am I staying Alice?" I say 

"You are staying in Jasper's room," she says grinning. 

"Really but-"

"But nothing Emily, there is a bed in there all for you, plus Jasper insisted that you were to stay with him," she says cutting me off. 

"Really he did," I say surprised. 

"Yes he did." 

"Here we go, Jasper's room," Alice says. 

"Thanks," I say. 

"Jasper will most likely meet you in a bit but he needs to go hunting now, so do I, I will see you tomorrow," she says and then disappears.

I walk into Jaspers room, the first thing I notice is how simple it is but so organised and full at the same time. Their were books everywhere as well as things from the civil war and stuff related to baseball. It was amazing. I saw that my bags had already been put onto the small sofa in the room. I go over and get my pyjamas out, I walk into the bathroom and get dressed, before I brush my teeth and remove any traces of makeup. I then put my hair into a ponytail. 

I then walk back out to find Jasper in the room, he was looking at my art book. He turned as he heard the door open and just stared at me. I then realised that It's because I'm in my pyjamas which consisted of a t shirt and shorts. I shrugged and walked over to my bag and put my stuff back into my bag. I look at Jasper indicating for him to give me my art book. He does and comments about how good my drawings are before I go and get into bed.
Jasper turns the lights off and then joins me in bed. I cuddle up to him, and start to fall asleep straight away.

Jasper's PoV

Emily just fell asleep cuddled up to me. It felt so weird but so comfortable all at the same time. I just stroked her hair as she slept and watched her peacefully. I close my eyes and pretend that I'm sleeping too, it made me feel more human.
