Chapter 8

Emily's PoV

The next few days went by quite quickly. I hung out with the Cullen's everyday at school and I was going to their house tomorrow. I'm so excited but I also feel like they might tell me something very important and I would have to keep it a secret from Bella. 
I'm not looking forwards to that but still can't wait to go.

Today was Friday and I was going home with the Cullen's. I packed my bag earlier this morning and am currently sat in the back of Bella's truck waiting for them to get to school. Bella left me to go into the school to hang out with her mates.

A couple of minutes later two cars enter the car lot and I instantly know it's them. I look up from what I was doing and see them park. I quickly pack my stuff away and get out of the truck and make my way over to them. 

The moment they see me they all smile, Alice rushes over and hugs me, so does Rosalie. The others all smile except jasper he doesn't seem himself. I just look at him confused with why he was being like this. I couldn't deal with it so I just turned to Alice and Rosalie. 

"So I have my bag for this weekend, I was wondering if I could leave it in one of the cars? Is that okay?" I ask them. 

"Yeah sure," Rosalie says.

"I will put them into the car, you guys go on ahead," Alice's chirps.

With that we all walked into school. I was happy to be with them but I couldn't help but feel like something was going to happen later. I also couldn't understand Jasper's behaviour. He is usually always talking to me but today he is ignoring me. It's really getting to me. I couldn't help but think about what must have happened earlier this morning to cause him to be like this.

3rd persons PoV

The Cullen's were sat in their living room. The all gathered to talk about Emily coming over and staying the weekend. It seemed to be a touchy subject.

"So Emily's coming over today," Rosalie states.

"What are we going to do?" Edward asks.

"What do you mean? We are going to try and make this as normal as possible for her sake," jasper replied.

"Jasper we can't keep her in the dark forever," Caleb says.

"Maybe not but I would prefer her not to know right now," jasper replies.

"What's your problem jazz," Rosalie butts in getting really pissed off that he wouldn't let them tell her. 

"I don't have one rose," he says.

"Clearly you do mate," Emmett states.

"Jasper why do you not want to Emily to know?" Carlisle asks.

Jasper remains silent, feeling surprised that they haven't figured it out yet. 

"Jasper please tell us, maybe we can help you," Esme asks calmly.

"HELP ME, how can you help me, I have the least amount of control here and I can't afford to drag her into all of this knowing that I could hurt her. I'm so drawn to her it's so confusing, I can't decide if I want to kill her or love her. It is literally tearing me apart," jasper shouts admitting his feelings. 

The rest of the Cullen's look shocked by his outburst. Jasper sits down on the sofa and puts his hands in his head. He briefly looked up at his family. 

"I don't want to hurt her," he states. 

"She's your mate isn't she," Caleb says.

Jasper shrugged, seeming unsure. 

"You think that she is also your blood singer, jasper if she was surely you would have already realised that by now. I noticed on the first day I met Bella," Edward says.

"Yes maybe but he could have been distracted by Emily herself to even notice," Carlisle replies. 

"Alice, do you know anything?" Carlisle asks. 

"Jasper I have seen her future, I saw her coming into our lives, I knew that she would be not just your mate and blood singer but your soul mate as well. When I realised I looked into it and found that vampires can have soul mates but it is very rare. It means that they have a connection that starts to form the moment they meet each other. This connection is eventually supposed to turn into true love," Alice reveals. 

The whole room look at her shocked that she kept this from them. 

"She deserves to know," Rosalie says.

Jasper looked at her. 

"Look jasper, I know you don't want to tell her but I have finally met someone other than Alice and Esme who really gets me, she reminds me so much of someone I knew, she is my best friend and I want her to know, please understand," Rosalie said, trying to sympathise with him. 

"I want her to know, she said to me when I first met her that I was different jasper, she knows we are hiding something and I want us to tell her so she doesn't find out from someone else," Alice says.

Jasper looked at Emmett and Caleb who just pointed to the mates, clearly showing that they were on their side. Jasper then looked at Edward. 

"If you tell Emily, she may not want or be able to keep it from Bella, they are twins after all and very close," jasper then states to Edward. 

"Even if she does it's not like Bella wouldn't tell Emily when she figured it out." Edward replies.
Jaspers sighs. Clearly showing his defeat. 

"Right so it's settled, we will tell her later this evening," Carlisle states.

Everyone then leaves the room to go to school.

Emily's PoV

School went by very quickly and it soon became time to go to the Cullen's. I walked out into the car lot to find only the girls their standing by a car. The boys must have left early and left us girls to go home together. 

I walked over to them. They looked very happy to see me. 

"Hello girls," I chirp. 

"Hey Emily," they say in sync. I laugh and they join in too.

"So did the boys go early in their own car," I ask.

"Yeah they did, besides we kind of want to take you shopping then to this beautiful meadow where we want to tell you something, is that okay?" Rosalie asks.

"Okay let's go then," I say. 

With that we get into the car.
