Chapter 2

Emily's (PoV)

BEEP!

BEEP!

I groaned rolling over turning the alarm off. I glanced at the time. 6:30am. Sighing I got out of bed and went to check on Bella, to see if she was awake yet. She was which was unusual because usually I'm awake and she's not. Oh well. 

"Morning bells," I said acknowledging my presence to her. 

She looked up at me and smiled. "Morning Em," she replied. 

"Hey I'm gonna take a shower, is that okay?" I asked.

"Yeah that's fine, I'll have one after you."

"Okay cool, see you in a bit."

"You too," she called to me as I made my way back into my room.

I walked to bathroom and got in the shower. 20 minutes later I got out, went to my bedroom and got dressed. 
I wore black skinny jeans, a blue blouse and a white jacket, with my black converses. I didn't put any makeup on as I prefer myself to look as natural as possible. 
I also wore my necklace that had the letter E on it, my mum had given it to me and it was special, I never take it off unless I'm in the shower, of course.

After sorting myself out I went into Bella's room and we were about to go downstairs when our dad called us, "Bella, Emily come outside, I have something for you two!"

We walked outside and saw two people who looked vaguely familiar to me, not sure about Bella though. 

"Bella, Emily Do you remember Billy Black and his son Jacob?," Dad stated.

"Yeah I remember," I said to both of them as Bella said, "Yeah me too."

"Your looking good," I complimented.

"Well I'm still dancing," Billy replied in a sarcastic tone, he continued, "Well I'm finally glad both of you girls are here, Charlie here hasn't stopped talking about it since he told me both of you were coming." 

Charlie butted in quickly, "Alright keep exaggerating and I'll roll you into the mud."

"Not before I ram you in the ankles, " Billy retorted as the two moved off into the road together, pretending to fight.

I chuckled watching the two of them messing around while standing with Bella and Jacob. Until Jacob walked up to the both of us. 

"Hi, I'm Jacob," he paused as we acknowledged him, I was slightly confused as to who he was, still trying to completely remember him. He obviously saw the confusion and then said, "All of us used to make Mud Pies together." 

The moment he said that I remembered him completely and smirked at him saying, "I remember now, we used to make them and try to get Bella to eat them," he chuckled while Bella went slightly red due to embarrassment. 

"Those were good times," Bella stated, recovering from her embarrassment.

"Yes they were, we were so young and innocent, now look at us," I said laughing. Bella and Jacob chuckled too.

Bella then looked over at Billy and Charlie and asked, "Are the always like this?"

"It's getting worse with old age," Jacob replied as I smiled at them, along with Bella.

Charlie and Billy then came back over to us and Charlie then said, "So what do you think," he paused hitting the orange truck next to us, causing a confused expression to appear on our faces, he continued, "about your homecoming present." 

We looked at him in shock and surprise and happiness. 

"This," Bella stated pointing to the truck. 

"Yeah I just bought it off Billy here," Charlie replied. 

"I totally rebuilt the engine for you two," Jacob announced walking over to us. 

"No way," I said as Bella continued, "Oh my god, this is perfect for us."

"You have got to be joking" I said as Bella walked towards the car and started opening the door, hitting Jacob in the process.

"Sorry," she apologised. 

"That's okay," Jacob replied.

Bella then motioned for me to get in as Jacob walked round to the other side. Once we were inside, Jacob then started to explain everything to us.

When we finished listening Bella then asked, "Do you want a ride to school with us or something?" 

Jacob replied, "No I'm good, I go to school on the reservation," 

"Oh right, I just thought that it would have been nice to know someone else," Bella stated. 

I frowned at this insult and exclaimed, "Hey what about me!"

"You don't count, your my twin." Bella said casually. 

"Yeah, fair point."

Once Billy and Jacob left, me and Bella got into our new truck and went for a drive around town, just so we could get used to our new surroundings. Eventually we came back home and just chatted about how awkward it is going to be going to school half way through the school term. 
Personally I wasn't that fussed about school tomorrow compared to my sister who was absolutely historical, freaking out about the most smallest things. The only thing that I was concerned about was having to socialise with people.

I packed everything away in my room, putting my already packed school bag on my desk, ready for tomorrow. I soon get into bed and fall asleep straight away.
