Epilogue

Emily's PoV

It was finally the day of prom and I was currently getting ready at the Cullen's household. At first I didn't want to go, since I hate dancing but Alice and Rose managed to persuade me. Which is why I'm now sat in a chair in front of the mirror, with Alice doing my makeup and Rose doing my hair. 

Once they finished I gasp as I look into the mirror, I looked amazing. I never really liked wearing makeup but I'll admit Alice made a good job at keeping it as natural as possible. And my hair is gorgeous. 

"Thank you guys I look amazing," I say to them, giggling. They laugh in response. 

"So now that we have finished this," Alice says, pointing at my face and hair," we are now going to get you into your dress."

After putting on my dress, I stand in front of the mirror and admire myself, thinking about how lucky I am, while Alice and Rose get ready. Once they were done they both looked totally gorgeous. I smiled at them. 

They grab my hand and take me to the stairs. We all walk down, seeing the boys waiting for us, they were all speechless when they saw us. Jasper stared at me and I giggled, making my way over to him. He put his arm around my waist. 

"You look so beautiful Darlin," he says in a southern drawl. My heart picked up and I blushed. 

"Thank you, you don't look to bad yourself," I say, giggling at him. He just rolls his eyes and shakes his head at me.

We all then pose for photos, which Esme took, obviously. There was one of all of us, one of just us girls, one of just the boys and one of each couple. When Esme took mine and Jasper's photo he kissed my forehead which made me grin widely and bush hard. 

"Do you always take photos before dances or is this new to all of you?" I ask, curious. 

"We usually do but it is much more exciting with you here," Emmett says. 

"Besides its nice to see Jasper with someone, usually he doesn't have anyone to go with," Esme says. 

"He usually stays at home with Edward," Rose says. 

"In fact he has never been to a dance with a date since he became a vampire," Alice chips in. 

Jasper was glaring at them all. I just laughed before turning to Jasper. 

"So I'm the first girl you have ever taken to a dance before," I say to him, teasing him. 

"Yes you are, but I'm glad that it's you," he says. I blush again. 

"Geez, will you stop making me blush, it's annoying," I say. 

"Well I can't help it you are just so beautiful to me," he says, making me blush again. He smirks at me, while the others all laugh, I just glare at him. 

"Let's just go to this party," I say, annoyed.

We get to the party and dance around a bit before Jasper takes us to a quieter place, since It was getting a little difficult for him to be inside with everyone else. We see Bella and Edward dancing, I wave at Bella and she waves back. Then Me and Jasper go off and sit on a bench, just a little way from Bella and Edward.

"I'm sorry for taking you away from the party, Emily, I just couldn't stand being around everyone," Jasper apologises. I shake my head at him. 

"It's okay Jasper, I'm not a big fan of parties anyway, besides at least I'm having a human experience with you at prom," I say to him. He smiles in response. I lean up against him as he snakes his arm around my waist. We look up into the night sky and I watch the stars. 

"Have you ever thought about becoming a vampire," Jasper says out of the blue. 

I look at him, "Yes I have," I reply. 

"What did you decide?," he asks me hesitantly. 

"I'm still conflicted," I say. He nods at me, to continue. 

"As much as I want to be with you forever, I don't want to leave my sister behind, we both made a promise to each other that we will stick together no matter what," I tell him. 

"So you don't want to be a vampire, " he says, I could see the hurt flash through his eyes. 

"No that's not what I said, ugh it came out wrong, look my sister wants to become a vampire and she told me that she didn't want to leave me behind, so she said that she would wait, wait for me to decide when I want to be a vampire." I say. 

"So you want to be a vampire?" He asks, clearly confused. 

"Yes I do, so I can spend eternity with you but I want to live a little first, maybe after graduation or something. I want to finish high school as a human," I say to him. 

He looks at me, with an unreadable expression. 

"You want to be with me for eternity?" 

"Yes I do Jasper." 

He then kisses me, it wasn't a rough kiss, it was a gentle passionate one, that told me that he truly cared for me. 

"I love you Emily Swan."

"I love you too Jasper Hale." 

We then glanced up at the stars before I looked at Jasper and he looked at me. 

"Will you be my girlfriend?" He says getting out a box. 

"Yes, of course I will Jasper," I say. 

He opens the box and I see a ring inside. 

"It's a promise ring, I want you to wear it so that you know that I promise to always love you no matter what," he then says to me. I gasp and smile at him. 

"Jasper," I say as he puts it onto my finger. I then grab the collar of his suit and pull him into a long passionate kiss. Behind us fireworks go off and the night just continued to be magical.

3rd person PoV

What neither Bella or Emily knew was that James's mate Victoria was standing upstairs, inside the building, watching them with their mates. She wanted revenge on James, she wanted to kill Bella so that Edward had to feel the pain that she was feeling. Victoria also didn't mind killing Emily in the process, since it would cause Jasper to feel just as hurt. She grins to herself thinking about all her scheming plans before disappearing.
