Chapter 19

Emily PoV

"I've had to fight our kind before, there not easy to kill," Jasper says to everyone as we enter the garage. He holds on to my hand tightly, squeezing it to reassure me that nothing was going to happen. 

"But not impossible," Emmett replies, "We'll tear him apart and burn him to pieces." Everyone agrees. 

"I hadn't realised the thought of killing another creature, especially a statistic one like James," Carlisle says. 

"What if he kills one of us first?" Rose then asks. 

We all stop and look at her. 

"Me and Jasper will take Bella and Emily, we'll run them south away from the tracker," Edward says. 

"No Edward, James knows that you and Jasper won't leave Bella or Emily," Carlisle replies to Edward. 

"I'll go with Bella and Emily," Alice says, "me and Caleb will drive them south." 

I felt jasper tighten his grip on me. He didn't want to leave me. I look up at him. 

"I'll be fine jazz, Alice will look after me, besides James isn't really after me," I say stroking his cheek before giving him a tight hug. 

"I love you," he whispers into my ear. 

"I love you too." 

We pull apart and Alice drags Bella towards the car as I start to make my way towards it. Before I get in I'm pulled back around by my wrist and I am faced with lips crashing onto mine. I kiss back but pull away moments later. 

"Jasper you have to let me go," I say looking into his eyes. He nods. 

I move to get into the car but notice that everyone was staring at me and jasper. 

"Umm....bye," I say to everyone, blushing hard. I quickly run towards the car and jump in before I blush anymore.

"Rosalie, Esme could you put these on so that the tracker will pick up on Bella and Emily's scent," Edward asks. 

"Why, what's Bella to me, I don't mind helping Emily," Rose replies, acting bitchy. 

"Rosalie, Bella is with Edward now, just like Emily is with Jasper, they are part of this family now and we protect our family," Carlisle says. 

I groan, "For the love of god rose, just put the bloody coat on, I'm worth saving and so is my sister." I could practically feel her eyes roll at my comment. 

She puts the coat on and goes of to the jeep with Emmett. Before we left Edward and Bella had their goodbye, while I just stared out of the window, since I already said goodbye to Jasper.
Moments later we drove away and I felt Bella grab my hand, I squeezed it slightly reassuring her that we'll see Edward and Jasper again. I see Alice look at us and smile, I give a warm smile back.

"Hey mum it's me again, you must have let your phone die again or something, Me and Emily are not in forks but everything is okay and I'll explain it later," Bella says, ringing mum.
