Meeting The Guys

I remember meeting the original Black Veil Brides, you remember the members from the 'Knives and Pens' music video? But now the band has totally different members, and Andy was going to introduce them to me tonight.
It's been an hour since Andy kissed me on the beach, and we happily rode in silence back to his place.
When we got there, four men and two women were sitting out on the porch drinking beers. Of course Ashley and Jinxx were there, but the rest were strangers.

"Why aren't you guys inside already?" Andy asked as he got out of the truck. I followed.

"We don't have a key." Jinxx answered.

Andy took my hand and we walked up the porch, "Ash, what happened to the key I gave you?"

Ashley shrugged, "I lost it.", he claimed. Andy unlocked the door and let everyone inside. "It's nice to see you again beautiful." Ash said, which made me smile.

"Oh give it a rest Purdy, hi I'm Jake." He said and shook my hand. He grabbed the hand of one of the women, she was blonde. "This is Inna, and Inna this is Andy's true love."

I grinned, "Also known as Jesse." I shook her hand. They went and sat in the living room.

"Jess, it's good to be in your stunning presence once again." Jinxx said which made me blush, he's always such a gentleman. He took my hand and placed a kiss on my ring finger, which had giggles escaping my mouth.

"And this is CC with his girlfriend, Brooke." Andy introduced.

"It's so nice to finally meet you, Andy never shuts up about you." CC said and shook my hand, Brooke shook my hand as well.

I sat between Andy and Ashley. Andy's told me a lot about Ash. To sum it up he said that Ash is a bit of a manwhore, but he means well, and in truth is a big teddy bear. He's also told me about the rest of his friends. He said that Jake is the more reserved one, but sensitive and easy to talk to. CC was a total party animal, he still is, but a little less because he has a girlfriend now. And Jinxx is a well mannered romantic, and always considerate.
Andy was a little bit like each of them. He's a teddy bear, easy to talk to, loves to party, and always considerate.

They were all in casual conversation, but I felt like an outsider. I was just resting my head on Andy's shoulder completely zoned out. But now that I am back to reality, it just feels off.

"You look so familiar." Inna stated, with her eyes directed towards me.

"Some things you might have seen me in are 'The Wolf of Wallstreet', 'Focus', and more recently 'Suicide Squad'." I answered, faking a smile.

"Oh yeah, you played the Joker's girlfriend." She said, I nodded.

"Harley Quinn is bigger than just the Joker's girlfriend, she's one of the most loved iconic characters of the DC universe. Besides, there was that time she hooked up with Poison Ivy as well as Deadshot." Andy said with full pride in his voice. He made my smile real.

"So uh, what do you guys like to do?" I asked, feeling more relaxed.

"You know manly stuff like drinking beer, playing football, and singing karaoke." Jake said, I chuckled to myself.

"Well, do you guys wanna play football? I mean, we do have an even number of people." I suggested.

"Yeah, let's do it!" CC yelled, getting all hyped.

"Christian, you know I just got my nails done today." Brooke stated, oh lord.

"And Jake, I went with her." Inna commented.

I rolled my eyes. "Well that leaves the six of us then, it's still even teams." I stated.

"Great, then it's settled. But don't you wanna change out of that skirt first?" Andy asked me.

"I'll just play in my bikini bottoms." I said, "Now what are the teams?"

It was Andy, Ashley, and Jinxx against Jake, CC, and myself. I have to admit, I had a lot of fun, and not just because our team won. "I hate to break it to you sweetheart, but we let you win." Ashley stated as we walked back into Andy's house.

"Jinxx, is this true?" I asked, knowing a gentleman always tells the truth.

"No malady." Jinxx said. I stuck my tongue out at Ashley, and he mimicked me.

"Okay, settle down you two. What should we order for dinner?" Andy asked everyone.

"Piiiiizzzzzzzzzzzzaaaaa!" Jake yelled as he jumped inside. We all laughed.

"Pizza it is." Andy grinned. He pulled me aside into the kitchen for a moment. "So thoughts?"

"The guys are great, the girls will grow on me like moles." I joked and Andy couldn't help but chuckle.

"Same though, they're just kinda wrapped up in themselves. But Inna really only acts like this when Brooke's here." He stated. "I also have another thing to ask you."

"Yeah, go ahead."

"Will you go out on a proper date with me?"
