"So where are you taking me?" I asked as I watched us drive out of Los Angeles. I don't know how, but Jack managed to convince me to go out for lunch with him. I mean we do go out for lunch together a lot, but he's refusing to tell me where this time.

"To your doom!" He said with a menacing voice. He kinda sounded like Gerard Butler from Phantom of the Opera. He chuckled, "Just kidding... you'll see."

We've been in the car for about three hours with seven washroom breaks. I've never felt so hungry in my life! Why did I agree to this? Honestly.

"How long till we get there?" I asked.

"Just a couple more minutes." He said with a goofy smile.

See, even when he's starving me and my unborn child, I still can't be mad at him. Alex and I were discussing who to make the Godfather the other night... I haven't told Alex yet that I want it to be Jack. I mean sure, Rian and Cass would be great godparents... but Cass and I aren't close. So maybe Rian, Zack, and Jack could be the godfathers. I mean the girls in Full House had three father figures, so how bad would my child turn out if they were their parents. I mean I don't like to think of a world in which I can't be with my child, but preparations need to be put in place, just in case.

My phone started to ring and I answered immediately once I saw the name.

"Where are you?" I asked. Well I kinda yelled.

"No hello? How are you baby? How was your morning sweetie?" Alex asked. Sometimes it kills me how much Jack and Alex are alike.

"Fine. How are you honey bear?" I asked, but Alex could tell I was angry with him.

Jack laughed, "He's gonna get it!"

"Is that Jack?" Alex asked. "What are you two up to?"

"What are you up to?" I asked and he sighed.

"I can't tell you... but you'll find out when I get home." He said.

"Why can't you tell me? I'm your girlfriend."

"And best friend. But if I tell you now, you'll be mad." He stated. "Listen, I've gotta go. And don't bother making dinner tonight. I love you."

"I love-" and he hung up. I sighed.

"Don't worry so much, it's not healthy for the baby... and I don't like to see you sad." Jack said which made me smile... that is until he slammed onto the breaks. "We're here!" He yelled.

"Jack!" I yelled.

He laughed, "Well don't just sit there, let's go!"

He got out of the car and ran to my side to open my door. I got out and smiled. He locked the car and we headed down the street. As we walked around the corner it was as if we entered a whole new world.

"We've arrived at paradise, my dear." I hugged him tightly.

You see, Jack complains and acts like a complete spoiled brat, but he always manages to bring the light on some of the hardest and darkest days. This is why Jack is my best friend.

"Thank youuuuuu!" I said and kissed his cheek.

"Don't thank me too quickly. I wanted to do something nice, but this was really Andy's idea. He called me last night and set up everything." Jack stated.

"Is he here?" I asked.

"No, he said he had group and also that he didn't want to stress you out."

"I've got to call him later."

"But right now we are going to be pampered and treated like the royalty we are!" He said, he took my hand and lead us inside.
