He Sings To Me

Pineapple

I've been in this room since Andy left. I am speechless. Blank minded. I don't know what to do.

I came here thinking that I would be showered in love, but it's like I'm a prop. A publicity stunt. An accessory. Nothing could be worse than this feeling.

I want to scream.

I want to run.

But I can't.

But maybe I'm just overreacting. Maybe Andy's just really overwhelmed and I'm not helping. I mean, he came to the airport for me and he's already rushed off to sound check. I'll just unpack, and try to make him feel better.

So that's just what I did. I unpacked most of my clothes and cleaned up the bunks area. I then proceeded in cleaning all the other rooms of the bus, until it was finally perfect. However, my stomach was begging to be fed, so I left the bus to go to the closest pizza joint.

When I got to Pizza Pizza, I took off my sunglasses and waited in line. That's when the yelling started.

"You mean to tell me that you're out of pineapple? I'm not buying that sweetheart! Now, you better get what I asked for or you'll regret it!" The man in front of me yelled at the cashier girl.

"But sir, we're out of pineapple. I can get you any other toppings." She said shyly.

"I'm not playing games little girl, so if you-" I tapped him on the shoulder. His face eased as he saw my face. "Miss, if you don't mind I'm trying to get what I ordered."

"You need to back off. She's just a girl trying to do her job. If you want pineapple, then go to Walmart, but don't treat this innocent girl like trash." I said.

"Lady, back off or you're next." He stated.

"Excuse me sir, did you just threaten my girl?" I turned around to see Alex. A smile spread across my face.

"I've had enough of you people!" The man shouted and stormed out.

"Alex!" I squealed and ran into his arms. "You have no idea how much I love you right now."

"I merely walked in, you were the hero today, saving this lovely girl from that creep." He cooed. He walked up to the cashier girl. "Do you think my friend and I can get a couple of slices of pepperoni?" She smiled and nodded. And before I knew it, I was sitting across from Alex in a booth chewing on a piece of pepperoni.

"So what happened to your brunch date with Biersack?" Alex asked with an annoyed tone.

"He cancelled on me, said he had to run off to sound check."  I stated.

He raised an eyebrow, "Their sound check isn't for another hour. Jess, he lied to you, aren't you angry?"

I shrugged, "Wouldn't be the first time. Everyone lies Alex." I said and continued eating my pizza.

"That's not okay! I would never lie to you if I was with you!" I could tell how angry he was. I placed my hand over his.

"Alex, I'm fine. Please, tell me more about how the tour's going."

"Well Jack is heartbroken... and so am I."

"What's going on with Jalex?" I asked.

"We've been missing you, Jess."

"You know you're gonna make me cry, right?"

He chuckled, "... Run away with me."

I dropped my slice instantly. "You're joking, right?" He shook his head.

"No, dump that loser and come with ATL on tour. You know how much we love you Jess. Please."

"You know I can't."

"Why can't you? Andy is just as bad as that man who was yelling for pineapples. He's using and abusing you Jess, please get away before it gets worse."

"Look I appreciate you buying me lunch and for caring so much, but I gotta get back to the bus. Rain check on midnight sneak out?" I got up and grabbed my purse.

"Jess wait a minute, please." He said as he stood up. "Look, you know that I'm in love with you and I'm not just saying this because of that. I am seriously worried for your safety over there. Just promise me that I'll be the first person you come to if you need help."

"I promise." He bear hugged me and kissed my forehead. Then I turned away and left the building.

Will I need Alex's help? It's Andy, I've known him all my life. What's the worst that can happen?

And we're back! Sorry for the slow updates, I've been so focused with side projects that I haven't been able to appreciate over 600 views! Amaze balls! I'll try to update again before Monday.
