The next evening the two men came to the apartment. Sonata let them and angrily stood in the living room. She furrowed her eyebrows, "One of you can sleep on the pullout and one can sleep in the guest room. You guys aren't getting keys yet because, frankly I don't trust you. I swear if I find even one spoon missing I will hunt you down." Isaac and Sam looked at each other, "I call dibs on the guest room." Issac said while he ran with his bag to the back of the apartment. Sam looked at Sonata, "I was going to take the pullout, to make sure Isaac doesn't steal anything." Sonata furrowed her eyebrows and walked to the back. Sam looked at the couch, he could figure this out...right?

The next morning Sonata walked out of her room. If they wanted to fight, it wouldn't be the first time shes fought in pajamas. She walked past the guest room and saw Isaac was sleeping quiet messily, hair a mess and face down in the pillows, snoring away. She smirked and took a picture on her phone, then continued down the hallway. She popped some coffee in the coffee maker. She turned around and lent on the counter, looking at Sam, who was also sleeping. Unlike Isaac he slept pin straight on his back, hands folded over his stomach. When the coffee was done Isaac came slouching into the kitchen. He smirked at her, "Ey' some coffee, can I have some?" He said drowsily. She nodded and motioned to the coffeepot, then sipped on her own coffee.

Sonata sat on the counter, and Isaac looked at her, "Look, I'm sorry for what happened the other day but, thanks for...ya' know...this." Sonata nodded and smirked. Sam sat straight up and looked at the two. Isaac did a short wave to the taller, "Mornin' Sam. Coffee?" Sam nodded groggily and walked over to the counter. Isaac handed him a cup that he had made for him, Isaac was the only one who knew how Sam liked his coffee. Sonata quickly downed the rest of the coffee before putting it in the sink. She looked at the two, "How much money do you guys have, ya' know, since you're not paying rent anymore." Sam quickly did the math in his head, "A little over a thousand." Sonata clasped her hands and put on a cheesy smile, "Perfect so you two can buy your own equipment," She quickly dropped the act and went back to sulking, "we leave in an hour." With that she went back to her room. Sam and Isaac looked at each other, "Lady problems?" Isaac questioned. Sam responded with a slap to Isaac's head.

Sonata explained that they were just going to walk across the street to the shopping center, the same place Mason brought her for her armor. As they made their way out of the apartment Sonata looked at the two, "So how did you two meet? I never got the full story." Isaac smirked, "Well we met in basic training. Got in a little scuffle then promptly got rewarded with dish duty. Well let's just say I always wash while Sammy dries." Sonata gave the two a weird look but, not without a smirk, "Great, now you could put those skills to use every night, since I am supplying you with a roof over your heads." She said as they crossed the street. When they got to the shopping center, she let the two run wild in the store while she headed to the Dunkin' next door, she needed another coffee.

She sat down in front of the store, probably looking like a homeless person again, with her over sized sweatshirt and messy hair to fight off the autumn chill. She grumbled, 'What is taking them so long I want to go home.' With that her phone started to ring. She picked up, "What do you want, Mason?" She sighed, "So how was the first night?" She could practically hear the smile. She flared her nostrils, "Oh it's perfect Mason, just like a big old slumber party. I love trusting random strangers into my very nice apartment, which I pay for." Mason just chuckled. He fucking chuckled, "Now you know how me and Meg felt and they aren't strangers, you're practically dating Sam." She gritted her teeth, "This is not the same as me. They had a home I didn't. You actually needed my help we don't need theirs! AND FOR THE LAST TIME I'M NOT IN LOVE WITH HIM!" She yelled causing more than a few people to look her way. She just huffed and angrily sipped her coffee.

Mason sighed, "S, I'm sure you'll grow to like them. Just as you liked working with them at the bar." She lent against the wall, "This is different, Mace." She murmured, "You'll be fine, S, I gotta go. I'll talk to you later, okay?" She took another sip and gave a small smile, "Alright Mace, I'll talk to you later. Give Meg hugs for me, kay?" Mason chuckled, "Sure thing. Bye, S." With that the call ended and she was back to quietly sipping the last of her coffee. After a few more minuets the pair came out. Isaac with more than a few bags, looking satisfied. Isaac saw Sonata's practically empty coffee cup, "Aw, none for us?" She sighed and downed the rest of the coffee again, "I'm in charge of your well being, not your coffee intake." Isaac whined, "But coffee is part of my well being." Sam sighed and smiled, "Come on, let's go home."
