luke's pov-

we were finally in dallas.

yes the land of daisy-dukes and bikini tops.

anyways I love dallas but I see some very unexpected things here.

lydia's pov-

I live here how could I have gotten lost? I asked myself

god I just wanna get home cause my stomach is killing me.

I walked around and found the American airlines center and decided to sit infront of it while I call my mom to tell her ill be late but of course my phone died.

oh god my breakfast is trying to make an appearance again.

I started puking on the side of the building.

Luke's pov-

we pulled up to the American airlines center and walked to the private entrance on the side of the building.

I noticed a girl no older then 15 crying while leaning against the wall.

" hey ill be right back" I told ashton.

I walked over to the girl and realized there was a puddle of sick next to her.

" are you ok love" I asked her

" no im sick and lost" she told me

oh poor thing I feel so bad

I kneeled next to her and moved her hair out of her face and found she had a fever

" oh you have a fever babe why don't you come inside." I told her

she nodded not caring that I was a complete stranger.

I took her inside and led her to the dressing room.

" hey guys this is wait I didn't catch your name" I said

" it lydia" she said barely audible

" she got sick and she's lost I was thinking I could take her back to our hotel and take care of her for a bit until we get a hold of her parents" I told the boys

" she looks miserable poor thing" ashton said

lydia's stomach made a gruesome noise and she fell the her knees

" oh are you ok can you stand for me" Michael said running over to her

she shook her head

" I think she might have the stomach flu" calum said to me

" no dip smart ass" I told him

which made Lydia  giggle

It was kinda cute

" well im gonna take her to the hotel ashton can you pick her up and calum can you find a bucket for the van " I said/ asked

" yeah sure ill be happy to carry her" ashton said picking lydia up.

she immediately sunk into him.

calum ran out to the van with a bucket just in case she got sick which was perfect timing cause she started gagging.

she must be miserable.

" text us when you get to the hotel" ashton said as he shut the car door I nodded.

" hey love why were you out this late anyways" I asked Lydia 

" my mom was working and I needed to get milk so I started walking to the gas station and got lost" she told me

I wrapped my arm around her to keep her warm.

" did you try to call your mom" I asked

" yeah but my phone died and she really doesn't care about me. I guess you can say I live in a broken home" she told me( haha see what I did)

my heart just broke in two

she started to get sick again

I pulled her long dirty blonde hair out of her pale face.

" shit this hurts" she said

" I know love but its better out then in" I told her rubbing her back

" you don't have to do this" she said

" do what take care of you" I asked

" yeah" she said

" I know I would've wanted some one to help me if I was sick and lost." I told her

honestly I don't think it's a good idea for her to go back to her mother's. she obviously doesn't care for her children.

" do you really want to go home" I asked her

she shook her head really fast

" do you wanna stay with us for awhile" I asked again

she nodded sinking into me.

" ok its settled we have a new family member" I said looking down at her and kissed the top of her head.

she started puking yet again.

" you got it bad didn't you " I said.

" fuck-my-life" she said in between being sick.

when we arrived at the hotel I carried lilly to mine and mikey's room.

" im gonna lay you on my bed feel free to take a nap while I look for some medicine to help your stomach and fever" I told her

"ok thanks penguin" she said falling to sleep

" no problem " I responded

I decided to text ashton

Luke-

hey we made it and by the way im keeping her

Ash-

ok and what?

Luke-

she's staying with us for a while

Ash-

like go on the rest of the tour?

Luke-

yep. Her mom doesn't care about her so why not.

Ash-

ok. But tomorrow ill find a place to sign papers so it's legal. We don't want people thinking were kid nappers

I walked back into the room to find Lydia  fast asleep I decided that was good for right now so I left the meds on the nightstand and let her sleep
