Luke is sick and calum defends him

Luke's pov-

Today is Tuesday I think. I can't ever remember with all the beatings I get from josh and his friends. It's the end of the day and I was almost at the front doors to go home but the I heard " Hey hemmo, where do you think you're going" it was josh " um, home" I replied shakily. P" yeah I don't think so" josh said picking me up by the collar. That's the last thing I remember before I woke up the next morning in my bed. I got out of bed and grabbed some clothes so I could shower. I noticed a dull bubbling in my stomach but brushed it off as nerves. I walked into the bathroom and looked at my reflection. I had a terrible, swollen and almost black busted lip, a disgusting black eye , I had bruises up and down my whole body. How could I not feel all of this? I just stood there in shock of all the damage josh has left my body with. I snapped out of it when I felt my stomach bubble even more. I slowly turned the shower on and got in. I leaned into the warm water for the reason my body was freezing. The  bubbling kept getting worse to the point I dropped to my knees and started throwing up. As soon as I was done and the water had turned cold I got out and put my clothes on. I looked at my phone and saw I had 2 minutes to get to school.  I throw my shoes on grab my bag and ran down the stairs. " oh my god, Luke what happened to you" my sister asked "nothing okay." I said " hey I heard you getting sick when I was in my room are you okay" aspen asked. " no not really but don't tell mum"I told her. She nodded and then I walked out the door. At this point there was no need to hurry because I'm already late. As I pull into the school , my head started to hurt to add on to my bubbling stomach. I walk in and get a late slip. I walk into my maths class completely forgetting my mother was my teacher. I walked slowly to her desk trying to hide my jacked up face. I handed her the stupid slip and went to sit down but josh tripped me and I fell while all my stuff went everywhere. A guy got down and picked up my things for me I thanked him and sat down. I was on the brink of crying from embarrassment and just not feel well. The bell ring not long after and I ran out into the hall where josh was waiting for me. No, no, no not now any other time but now. " hey hemmo, I like your new faceaccessories" josh said laughing. He had me pressed against a corner and I just slid down it." Awe guys he's crying maybe we finally broke him" josh said. They started kicking me. Then josh picked me up again and started pounding me." Hey put him down" I heard some one yell. I looked to see who it was and I realized it was the guy who helped me pick my things up. " yeah and if I don't what will you do" josh said. "This" the guy said . He walked over to josh a d punched him and knocked him out. Everyone was shocked he picked me up bridal style and took me to the sick bay with out saying another word. Once we were half way there my stomach let out a moan. The guy looked down at me with curiosity and concern. We finally reached the sick bay and the nurse said " aw calum hood what can I do for you" oh this beautiful beings name is calum." This is Luke hemmings he was just beaten up by josh thymer and I think he might be sick to, his skin is feverish and his stomach is making unpleasant noises." Calum said. "Okay ill take care of him you can go to class" the nurse said." No I'm staying right here by his side" calum protested " as you wish hood" the nurse said.she stuck athermometer in my mouth while cleaning my cuts. The thermometer beeped and read 102.6." He's definitely sick" she said. " you know what ill take him home, his mum is a teacher and can't take him so ill do it" calum offered. The nurse nodded and calum picked me up and carried me into the office to check me out. As soon as he did he carried me to my car. He got in the drivers seat and drove off the schools lot. We went down a road I wasn't familiar with. We pulled up to a beautiful home and calum got out and went around to my side and got me out." Where are we". I asked. "My house" he responded." I'm gonna take care of you" he added with a beautiful smile. He set me on his couch, turned on the tv for me then went to work in the kitchen. He came back short while later with soup and handed it to me as I sat up. He pulled the blanket up on me and grabbed my phone. " what are you doing" I asked. " I'm messaging your mum letting her know where you are and my address so after she gets off work she can get you" he responded. " oh okay" I said as I drifted into a nice slumber. Next thing I'm ow I'm being shaken awake." Hi baby how are you feeling" I saw my mum sitting next to me. " I'm not feeling that well at all" " I'm sorry love, lets get you home" my mum said. Calum picked me up and took me to my mums car. " hey I put my number in your phone so you should text me sometime" calum said with a wink. " ill drive his car back to your house but do you mind giving me a ride back home" calum asked my mum. " no not at all" she said and with that we were on the way home. I guess I fell asleep because I woke up in my bed with a note next to me. 

It said : hey lover boy, 

Thanks for letting me take care of you. I hope you enjoyed your stay at mi casa. I just wanted to let you know I like you a lot and I have a hunch you like me too and I would like to get to know you better.
